    No, I wouldn't.

I hate the way Black people have 're-claimed' the word ****** and use it amongst themselves, it will bite them on the arse because they will re-enter it into mainstream converstaion. But I do understand that it carries a different implication from black to black, and the same rules apply to your question

So according to the race laws laid down by Schofield De Gae(Spaniard) and Hernandez(Mexican) have got the green light to continue calling Evra 'el negrito' but Rooney and Rio have'nt.

So you think people are only allowed to use certain words if they are the correct colour IE Black in this case.

And you think suarez is racist?

I don't know if Suarez is a racist.

It would seem that he has racially abused Evra though, intended or not.

As for friends calling eachother names, it is all about context, If Rio called Rooney a GrannyFucker he may well laugh it off, You try it and he'll react differently.

Are you really being more silly than usual? You cannot have a law that excludes some elements of the general population.

As for your "lost in translation" comment that is just truly laughable. If Suarez did use the phrase suggested above then he would have done it in Spanish. If there was a translation error then it was on Evra's part. So is Evra also liable for a ban?

Its the context its said in that decides if its racist or not.

Forgot to say, I saw Rafa and his wife the other day opening an autism centre ( his wife is patron or something) anyway I overheard this autistic chap say that he thought it was wrong for liverpool to have a spanish manager they should come from liverpool like kenny.

I just chuckled to myself because of all this racism stuff lately and that he thought kenny was a scouser.

Evra would no doubt have been straight to the media whining if it had been him.

I dont understand, how Suarez can be convicted, if United players (De Gea & Hernadez) use the EXACT same phrase at Evra that Suarez used, UNLESS De Gea and Hernandez are convicted also

The other thing is Suarez could have said, I didnt say anythin,as apparently nobodies heard anythin other than Evra.He didnt he told the truth. The fact that he admits to saying calmarse negrito( calm down little black man ) and the fact he knows at De Gea and Hernandez call Evra negrito too, suggests that he had absolutely no idea it may be construed as offensive.

Is Suarez guilty of being ignorant of the customs and language in a new country, maybe he is.

Guilty of racism , never in a million years!!!!!

Ignorance is no defense. You do 60mph in a 30mph zone and say to the cops "sorry I didnt know this was a 30 mph area, can you let me off?"

Absolutely ridiculous. The FA quite rightly will make an example of Suarez. This is Britain and here we are far ahead of some countries which take these things lightly. For players, the pitch is their place of wrok and you just cannot abuse someone just because of the colour of his skin.

If Suarez is not banned for at least 5 matches and fined a huge sum, then the FA is as spineless as FIFA in dealing with racism.

I have no problem with Suarez being banned..............as long as Hernandez is banned for EXACTLY the same amount,as he has said EXACTLY the same thing

The author of this is naive and stupid beyond comprehension.

When my true friends call me names "you nxxxxr, bastrd, etc" it is done without malice with no intention to hurt me. I know where there are coming from.

When the same words are used in a confrontation by others for whom I have no affection or friendship, they are used to wound me. In Britain this is illegal.

Why can't people understand that simple concept?

The more and more this case goes on its lookin more and more like " case dismissed". Unless Fergie's " relationship " with the FA has any say in the matter. That's the only way Suarez could get found gulity here.Fergie manipulating officials!!

And you say that its ok for your true friends to call you nXXXxr, bastrd......Errrrrrrrrrr..........ok!!!!!!!!. I think your the one with the cultural issue's not Suarez
