In a nutshell I hate racists as you should be able to tell
I posed this albeit in a weird way
What is racism? There are so many sorts are there not so how do you determine the catergories
Terry is no racist he is just hated as he is also the captain of Chelsea and England and we roast our own
If he is guilty well there is no doubt about that then him and Suarez are proper ****ed should Suarez get more or less ?

I make a point of ensuring no one gets away with a racist slur in my company but how to police that in sport will mean that we need a fall guy
Will that change anything ?
My money is on no what's more we will see allsorts of claims and counter claims

No - I couldn't tell from your post that you hate racists. Because you didn't say that, in fact, you appeared to be saying that we shouldn't even try to stop racism because it wouldn't work so what's the point?

If you want to make a point, can I suggest you actually say what you mean?

Instead, you go around muddying the waters by implying that offense against gypsies (or what passes for gypsies in this country of ours) is exactly the same as racist offense. When we all know it isn't.

If John Terry is guilty of racially abusing Anton (or any other black or mixed-race footballer) he deserves punishment. So does Suarez, so does anyone.

That should happen irrespective of whether it'll stop other people being racists - things that are this wrong shouldn't become tolerated just because they happen. And for Blatter to suggest that a handshake at the end of the game is enough to sort the matter out is just plain wrong, and if a minister said such a thing we'd already have seen their resignation.

Now, I don't believe that I misunderstood what you'd previously posted at all. You yourself do not appear to know what racism actually is, and at which point it begins - you ask that very question above. I'm sure that there are any number of posters here that have experienced racism first hand that can tell you exactly what it is, and the effect it has. And it needs to be met head on - no hornet's nest, just a determination that things which are abhorrent will not be tolerated. Not by anyone, not by the captain of the England football team, not by the head of FIFA, not by the star striker for Liverpool, not by so-called 'fans' of football clubs, not by the bloke you walk past in the street - nobody should be expected to receive this abuse and simply accept it as a fact of life, and nobody (whether they have a squeaky-clean past or a record of criminality and infidelity) should be allowed to get away with it.

Agree Will of course I say define racism because my friend I have seen and witnessed it first hand as well of course it's sickening

You are talking about black skin racism?Which I agree we stamp it all out but after that?... It's need clear definition as a gypsy is a equal man to a black man is equal to a asian man in my book we don't get to choose where we are born and have no extra rights to where we are born
