Used to go to Consett regular before they moved the Stadium and got a mercenary in charge as a Chairman
Begrudge going there to watch the Sunday League finals now!

Fiorentina cos of my Nanna

Rangers because of my grandad

Malaga due to living there a few years and going to a lot of games (they got in the CL while I was there, now hopefully gonna get back in 2nd via playoffs)

Of course nowhere near the Sunderland level but I’d say Fiorentina does give me a kick in the bollocks when they **** up like last week.

There's other English teams I like to see do well but I'd never support them, only the lads.

Foreign teams is slightly different I'd say I'm a pseudo Napoli fan and Ive always liked Ajax

Only Sunderland even though the family moved to the Midlands when I was only 9 and I've lived away ever since, it must be the DNA.
Lived in Coventry all my teen years and was in the St John's Ambulance Brigade so went to lots of matches on duty at Highfield Road but for some reason used to enjoy seeing them lose.
Never been able to understand how anyone can change their allegiance, for me, it was something I was born with, some might say cursed at birth!

Have you ever done it?

My two lads were born and bred Derbyshire. I have taken them to many a game as bairns. Found myself cheering along with them. Got dragged to Wembley when they lost to Villa. Sat next to a couple of massive, so put on a canny act.

I have supported local non league clubs loads on big FA cup occasions. Those are mega days really. Around here you get all sorts coming together for 1 big day out.

I support Brazil unashamedly, unless playing England.

Anyone else?
I have had many 2nd teams over the years - results I look out for such as Dundee, Motherwell, Crewe, Bradford and Madrid - all down to family connections or friends. The only team I have watched with any regularity were Stoke City when I was a student down that way in the late 90s.

Been to a few South Shields games as my mate works for the club and my son did his Work Experience there

I went to Shields’ 5-2 win at Spennymoor last November. Thoroughly enjoyed it, totally different experience but we all had a good night.

Aye it’s canny down there mate. Tidy little ground they have now.

I bought the home shirt to walk the dog in, even that’s a different world think it was £40 when new release.

Last game I was at they win 7-0, I think they will hit the football league within 5 years and stay there.

Best mates a Liverpool fan so always keep an eye on thier results and show interest etc. Other than that goto birtley town games when we aren't at home.

Done well recently got promoted lastyear main striker left for Gateshead and only just missed out on promotion this season.
I get to a fair few non league games over the course of a season. Good chance I’ll get up Birtley in the coming months!

I have never been able to identify with another team or club. Lives right next to Maine Rd as a student in Manchester and had a bit of a soft spot for them, esp after the bonkers match vs us in 1990, but that dissipated when I left.

lived all over London and a lot of mates were Gooner fans, esp when I was still playing.
Admired the great footballing side of the Invincibles over the years, but that was it.

Only ever the one team for me.
