As we have wandered off-topic anyway have you ever thought who a cashless society actually benefits ? On-topic did anybody mention the lighting on walton street car park ?
Yes, it is a bit inconsistent which I think is an issue. If we're going in a particular direction then it should be as consistent as possible. Not one place telling you to be modern and another place telling you not to be. It's a bit like the FM Radio thing again...
I use Monzo. It’s not something separate or different, it’s just a bank account with helpful features to enable control of spend and protection against anything dodgy. Enabled by the fact that it’s entirely online. I’m amused by the apparent reliance on cash as a way of avoid fraud. As if we’ve none of us ever got home and realised we were shortchanged for that last £20 note of the night! EDIT - apologies, I meant to reply to Ric Glasgow, not the above post.
Know plenty of people that have being ripped off similiar to you when paying by card and the response is it's always to much hassle to try and get the money back, easy money for some then, a few " card payment mistakes " each time and there quids in, some can afford to lose money this way, others can't. I used to buy something before every game on the concourse but since card only, i've not bought a thing, but no great loss to the club i suppose, still sneak a flask in mind. As for those objecting to the use of cash at City because heaven forbid it might slow the quee down a little that's more than a bit selfish whilst at the same time trying to dictate but as long as it suits you right ? sod everyone else !
Another post from Sue on the Facebook Forum... So, here is a question from the club, short simple and lots of answers would very helpful to feed back. Re the current layout of the stadium, if you had the option, how would you change it. Where to house away fans, where to house the tigers 'choir' (my choice of word lol). Is the family stand in the right place.
It isn’t. But the various committees and the police would stop it. The stadium was badly designed in the first place giving no consideration of how to allow for differing amounts of away fans and being able to fill unsold away seats with home ones.
She has subsequently clarified that they're not necessarily going to change anything, they just want to make sure they're aware of the fans views on it.
The mention about the toilets is very pertinent in my humble opinion. During my last visit to the gents at the KFC stadium I heard the bloke next to me comment that my member was the size of King Kong's finger. I immediately became embarrassed and vacated my space.
Computer says no. Social credit score not high enough. At least its convenient for those who don't like carrying cash and like to whip their phone out at the till to pay for stuff.
In Berlin this year was surprised how many small shop retailers only took cash. Pick your own reasons.
