    Guess it is watch this space, if we sign a new CB and he is automatically given the armband lots of questions will be asked.

    Sad thing is, before a ball was kicked this season you could have asked any fan if it would be a good idea to make Bamba captain and the reply would have been it would be a good idea to replace him not alone DON'T give him the arm band

    If we knew Cook was going as was suggested and if we knew it was Bournemouth which is likely after Howe's rave reviews of the lad, then it makes it all the more galling that we didn't land Elphick as part of some kind of deal.

    Dipped in and out (can't bare to watch the scum win), he didn't look out of place and is going to become a very good player. I hope this time we have negotiated a sell on clause.
