I'm only an occasional poster on here, but I wanted to post now as I am shocked by the negativity around Nigel, saints prospects for the season, and substitutions on Sunday etc.
As it happens I don't think he was mistaken, and even if he was -so what? We all make mistakes and the club is on a massive learning curve.
But more than any of this, everyone at the club will be hurting at losing three games and nervous at what the season holds. I think we'll do well as it happens. But on top of the worry, Nigel has the huge task of being positive and keeping everyone together. But he can't do it all on his own. Saints supporters need to act premier division too and give him full backing - he's earned it. It's a shame it's so long until the next game, but when it comes let's hear plenty of support for Nigel and help him to stay positive and confident enough to keep taking risks with a young squad.
