Oh my god ! Maybe the Hat's been using reverse psychology all along, with all that "Bruce out" stuff ? How clever. Bruce out
If Bruce is sacked, we could maybe present it to him, to take to his next club. Or, this maybe hindsight, have Velcro letters to change the name, or even the message.
I'm as disappointed as everyone about the banner but... Anyone got any suggestions to support the team on Tuesday night??
Yep, I'll be going and taking four new lads with me. For them that can and want to, it's a bums on seat game.
"Brucey Brucey he's our honky Big fat head & hung like a donkey" Has it gone walkies or is it just sat around somewhere gathering dust?
A bit off the wall but people opening their mouths and using their vocal chords to emit sounds which form into words which are positive and encourage the team would be a start. A lot of people offering the same words at the same time would be even better. I believe these things are known amongst some rougher, more vulgar supporters of other clubs as chants. Some fans even accompany these chants with clapping of hands and in moments of high excitement even stand up. Of course we have to ask ourselves do we want this sort of thing at the KC. These so-called "fans" even involve themselves in these unseemly displays before the game has started and the team has done nothing to earn any applause. Where will it all end?
Yes, wanting fans to get behind the team and doing so before the team have done something to make them put their flasks down so they can politely applaud makes you a weirdo in the eyes of our spectators.
It's ****ing embarrassing. To be honest, the fact that a section of fans have had to have a whip round to get such a banner is embarrassing. The club should be covering every bit of empty seating with the ****ers as a matter of course.
I don't know specifically. It was hung temporarily on the south west corner, but was taken down to be put in a more visible spot, and hasn't been seen since. I'm expecting a post card showing it lazing on a beach in the Maldives, or bound up in orange overalls and accompanied by a bundle of demands.
