Actually Liverpool is easily the most attractive northern city. It has real style, though nothing to rival London's grandeur.
It's a ****hole. Manchester's better than Liverpool ffs. York the is best city in the north by a long way. Best in the country IMO, as you don't have the ghettos London is full of, and the people are a lot friendlier.
No - they're nosey, interfering and think it's all right to impose themselves in your company. I ****ing hate people who can't keep themselves to themselves. Mind you, the city itself is wonderful - just a sahme it's wasted on the gormless troglodytes who inhabit it.

yes and no. Every time I go north i encounter people who are so "nice" i want to strangle them be it serving in shops, on the street or various other places. It was an exagerration for me to say everyone's like that - after all, not every londoner is a moody rude grouchy old **** like me......
I suppose it's like the stereotype of the Londoner who rather step over your bleeding body than help a stranger. I hate over-friendly strangers myself tbh. Unless I'm pissed, then I'll talk to any ****.
