There's a lot of talk comparing the Hawks D with the 1985 Bears. For me the way the game panned out was the similarity. Off the top of my head, I can remember the early mistake, but this was by the Bears leading to a New England FG. Other than that the final score was almost the same, nearly every time NE had the ball, it was 3 and out, Eason had a mare at QB, they only scored a TD near the end, I think that Chicago may have been playing some reserves by that time though. There was a safety at some point maybe, because Rich Camarillo punted a record distance in a SB that lasted a very long time 65 yards or something around that.
Also was RHCP in just to up the profile of Bruno as he wasn't a strong enough act on his own? disappointed they only played one song
Well I didn't care a jot about which team was going to win and I think it was the least entertaining Super Bowl I've seen.
And for all your draft needs, head to insidethewarroom.wordpress.com and follow @InsideWarRoom on twitter.
No... dum f**king comment. If only the SB had been as entertaining as your pathetic 28 point lead concession to Andrew LUCK
Chill, man. No shame in losing to Andrew. You'll need to ask more specific questions than that! General concept is teams, from ****tiest to best, take it in turns to pick players.
That's the rough impression I get, but I have no idea how it works or the details, for example I've heard comments about trading to get a better draft pick? And how many picks does each team get? Just general stuff like that.
Seven rounds, before trades (and occasional punishments) every team gets a pick per round depending on their record, then in the later rounds there are some compensation picks but nobody's really entirely sure how they're calculated, something about free agents. But yeah, you can trade to move up in the draft, it's pretty simple - if you want someone's pick, trade for it.
If you have a look at previous years it will give you an idea. We were bottom last season and picked first but traded our second round pick last year and this year for Alex Smith. Reckon we will trade down to get another pick somewhere.
The NFL made flea mime http://www.nme.com/news/red-hot-chili-peppers/75293 If the instruments were not plugged in then they must have had the gain on a bit too high as it was very distorted.
yeah, it was over as a contest when Manning threw his 2nd int for a TD just as it looked like Denvers offence was starting to play, shame, gotta wait another year for the next one, although it has it's benefits as I won't be so ****ing tired on Monday morning.
I think he will come good. He is a LT playing as a RT. If Albert leaves he may get his preferred position. The guy is a natural athlete to, have been impressed when I have seen him play.
