I just dont get it, yes it is an honour, but being available for the swans and going through a full pre season with a new manager and coaching staff, Possibly getting used to a different way of playing, formation, is majorly important to us this season. So to be away from it is to the detrement of Swansea City. Yes it is nice to be represented, but i couldnt give to whoots for the GB side. all i am concerned with is come first game of the season we have our strongest side available and are prepared as well as we could be and because of this pointless tournament, i wonder whether we will.

Norway i know you say that if we cant get by without them it will look grim in the league, well all 3 were a main stay of our side last year and no doubt will be again this year.( if Sinclair signs a new contract). Laudrup has talked about a smaller squad, well we are going to need every single player that we have, lets all pray for no injuries.

Don't worry lads Cardiff are more affected by this than us. According to them on their board they have a strong representation in team GB.

Giggs, Bellamy, Ramsey and Bale !!!! None of these actually play for Cardiff but still they're strongly represented.

Straws are being clutched big time here by the looks of it, they're getting more deluded with each passing day.

Phil, I've never seen a more mentally deranged set of fans, words fail me.

I laugh every time they refer to themselves as the capital city. You don't hear the London or Edinburgh clubs fans say that. They're inferior to us and they know it and that is the last crumb of comfort they desperately cling too. A bit like short persons syndrome or a man with a very small penis, shouting out for someone to hear them.
This latest claim about team GB sums up just how sad it is and shows why they are the laughing stock of British football. The only European capital without top flight football.

I have to question their loyalty to the country of their birth, as there appears to be none

WWCOI i would much rather them be having a superb pre season with the players they will be playing with all season and for the team that pay their wages not a nothing side in a nothing tournament and one GB havent taken part in for well over 50 years.

Mabon, Giggs for me is just the biggest hypocrite of all. Hardly ever turned up for Wales but happy to play for GB. Great player but a tosser of a human being.

Dilli i hate critising a fellow countryman, but giggs showed very little loyalty to Wales, and he is as you say a nothing but a hypocrite,

Just don't think you questioning their loyalty because they want to play in the Olympics for GB is very fair , putting to much country loyalty weight on a sporting event IMO .... It's just a game !

These guys should be doing all they can to protect our national team, for themselves and those that come after them, Allen and Taylor would now be sunning themselves in Tenby or Trecco Bay if the english had failed to reach the euro's, they would not have had a sniff. Team GB football is a laughing stock within world football,

They were born in the UK, so can represent our country MabonJack, I am sorry you don't like the Olympics or it seems the people in it, but as you can see people are excited by the swans players in the team
