in a classic piece of non communication between sports administrators we have three major international sporting events all happening at the same time in England tomorrow, which is a bit nuts but good fun. Well 4 actually.

Cricket World Cup final - England v New Zealand, England win
British Grand Prix - the monotony likely to continue but I’d like to see Leclerc win, he’s very exciting
Wimbledon Men’s Final Djokovic v Federer. I’d love Federer to win this, surely one of, if not the, greatest sportsmen ever
And the big one - Women’s Netball World Cup, England v Samoa. England I suppose. Can’t say I’m a fan, and even the women in my house who have played the game show no interest in watching, but if you do like it there is sensational value, loads of games every day in Liverpool.

If anyone has a betting account I’d be interested to see the odds on England, Leclerc, Federer, England combo.

This has started happening regularly since Wimbledon moved it's place in the calendar into July a few years ago. Lewis Hamilton bemoaning the competition to the British Grand Prix but if it wasn't so boring perhaps they would not be bothered by such competition. I'll be watching our cricketers hoping they can finally nail the big one, I'm old enough to remember Boycott and Brearley trying to chase down the Windies in the first World Cup back in the 70s before the inevitable collapse, it's a whole different ball game these days...

F1 and tennis are both ****e so it’s no real contest. Especially F1.

Serena Williams just lost her final in under an hour.

It does seem odd to have all of these things going on at once, but I'll only have eyes for the cricket.

They don't seem to be betting on the big one yet, but England, Leclerc, Federer comes up at 33/1. That wouldn't change much with the netball added in.

Just watched the Grand Prix during the cricket break and seen Max Verstappen pull off a brilliant overtake on Vettel only for Vettel to take him out on the next bend with a rear end shunt, looks like another Hamilton win...
