    Been a fairly even contest so far but Pool have been looking dangerous.

    You've seen how jaded Swansea have looked this season. It'll happen to us if we qualify.

    Gerrard is their pen taker, and according to the graphic they showed he has taken 8 this season.

    They haven't had as many pens as you think.

    EDIT: Quick check, they've had 10 this season.

    EDIT 2: Also, if I recall, they should have had 5 or 6 at Old Trafford, and today's first was a certain pen (though the second was a shocker, possible attempt at retribution by the ref for the WHU goal?)

    I share your ambivalence towards the Europa League.

    It WILL affect our league form next season if we qualify. Financially it's not of huge benefit and, whilst it would be an adventure, this squad (plus whatever acquisitions are made in the summer) is not really ready for it.

    According to soccerway Gerrard has 10 goals by penalty and he missed atleast one so 11 minimum. And this is only in the PL
