    The Copa del Rey matches are home and away games so the number of games is about the same.

    Actually they aren't, as the highest number of CdR games a La Liga team can play is nine.

    In comparison, the maximum number of FA Cup games a Premier League team can play is ten - and that's before taking the League Cup into account, which depending on European football could add either six or seven matches to their schedule.
