It's the terminology that I find a bit crass to be honest. It's heavily loaded in sexism (though you obviously didn't mean it that way). I don't condone that behaviour either but people make mistakes and they've clearly moved on. Insinuating further accusations without anything to back it up (barring a 15 year old unrelated incident) is poor form in my view.
