Your board's got plenty on it saying we were nearly as bad mate.

Wouldn't take that too seriously, judging from the few short visits I've had to the NUFC board they're all mental <laugh> Bet you all your Newcastle mates will admit you were comfortably better <ok>

We weren't set out to look pretty. We were set out to win. Our front three give the mag defence hell. lots of tricky diagonal ball with two big strong lads with goal scorer lurking around them. Fact is Carver was Dicked on.

As Disco mentioned there are serious claims that the only difference, between the two teams, was a wonder goal .....
    .... 3rd rate spin doctoring tbf <ok>

It's a bit like the Geordie Clapper claiming that Sunderland have only won the last 5 games through 'outworking Newcastle'.

You must be praying that was Carver's last derby, he's an embarrassment to the NE.
I wonder if they'll make him hand his jacket back when they sack him.

He can always write his memoirs, 'Clapping & Shouting' <laugh>

We went for a win, they came for a draw .......... sums it up.

Sunderland were vastly improved as a team vs the team that turned out against West Ham.

The West Ham game was probably the worst game I've watched as a neutral all season, in the Premier League. Contrast that to Sunday, the game Sunderland brought was a different type of football altogether. I've not seen any complaints from NUFC fans but I don't doubt there's a few who are bitter about the result.

If Newcastle get McClaren and a decent level of investment in some players prepared to graft, get rid of that bin man and stop feeling sorry for themselves, they'll do well in this league, I've no doubt about that at all.

I agree, it's incredible that 2015 is the 60th anniversary since they last won a current major trophy.
That's virtually impossible for a club that size when you think of what Wigan, Swansea, etc have managed to win.

I was terrified when there was money being spent and Bobby Robson managing, I was convinced they win something.
Fortunately delusion set in and they thought they could do much better without him.
I remember them describing the post as one of the top jobs in world football ......... now they have the Geordie Clapper mismanaging them <laugh>

If only you'd realised how bad his coach was.

They got a bit carried away with Keegan and never recovered from that wave of excitement. They counted their chickens far too early one season and failed to account for United's strong finishes under Fergie. They'd have probably won the league if they remained switched on, but they thought it was all done and dusted.

Both your clubs should be teams that players dream of playing for, but through mismanagement and bad decisions, they've just fallen behind to even teams like Southampton and Everton. I don't buy into Keane's theory of geographical location, FFS, look at all the top Brazilians in Ukraine and so on over the years.

I would be gutted if Carver is still here next season but the problem runs far deeper. Started at Ashley, supported by Pardew, and it's now ingrained into all our players. The entire club just does not give one single **** as long as we finish somewhere in the region of 8th to 17th. Even trying to avoid a 5th derby defeat in a row, the players clearly didn't care and no one will tell me otherwise. Of course they wanted to win, but were they willing ot put their bodies on the line and leave everything out on the pitch? Were they ****, any simpleton could see that. I hope Carver goes, but there will never be real change till Ashley jogs on.

You've already shown you can be relatively successful under Ashley, I'm not buying into the theory that he needs to go before you see success on any level.

Your players probably do care, it's just that most of them are absolutely **** or played out of position.

Your best fullback was played at centre half, your left back was a guy who's played CM all season. Put Ryan Taylor at Left Back, Janmaat at RB and stick a kid in at centre half, United have had to do that loads of times this season, at least then you've only got one player out of position, Colback can then occupy the role he's best at, Sissoko will be free to get forward and you might actually stand a chance at touching the ball.

That's what you get when you put a bin man in charge of a football team, ultimately, all he knows is ****ing rubbish.

Only when there's a joke to be made, it's pointless otherwise.

My mate just called me to tell me he's got a $500k grant to research cannabis, I told him I know just the man to help <ok>
