I'd take a Cardiff win all day, cos I can't see them getting out of it, it's WBA & Palace, should have been Norwich but we gifted them a cushion. I still think it COULD be Norwich who go like, 0-3 today is an awful show.
It is simple really...our home form, in that we are very poor at scoring, has dragged us down all season. I am ATM at a loss how we may change that form around. I suspect we will have to gamble and drop both Altidore and Wickham.. Play Borini as a main striker with AJ behind him, midfield is Ki, Colback, Cattermole and Bridcutt..defence as per Gus usually plays. As well as a fresh formation something must be done about our slow start when we give two goals away from corners ours or theirs etc. Loud music rousing speeches a smack in the gob whatever, a new or different approach immediately before the games required, all these highly paid coaches need to extract their fingers and get an even more highly paid bunch of players to show pride and passion in pulling on the shirt.
Absolutely mate, it's not pretty to watch but he has sorted them right out defensively to be fair. There's no magic trick to it, he just gets them to do the basic things right and put in total commitment. Wish we could have that level of organisation and discipline!
If Norwich lose to West Brom ad Fulham they could easily go down ............ Norwich v West Brom Fulham v Norwich Norwich v Liverpool Man Utd v Norwich Chelsea v Norwich Norwich v Arsenal
Just had my first look at the league http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/table 2 games in hand over wba and 1 is against them meaning we'll still have 2
That Norwich v West Brom game is a pickle. Given Norwich's last four games im not sure what the best result is.
These are just some of the remaining games, owt can happen yet .......... Sunderland v West Ham Cardiff v Crystal Palace Norwich v West Brom West Ham v Crystal Palace West Brom v West Ham Sunderland v Cardiff Sunderland v West Brom Fulham v Crystal Palace
look on the bright side its ****ed all these stupid predictors and graphs and experts telling us about all the rubbish sides there are down here, reality is there are no certainties in football ,looking back at the norwich away debacle in terms of fight that must be the worst i have seen this season and as always when it mattered in a 6er
Hull are 8 points above Sunderland. We have 3 games in hand. They have a Wembley appearance in a fortnight. They have 3 of their last 4 games away from home. Just saying like .........
What about we try playing Giacc as a striker? The lad has taken the goals he's scored for us very well, why not try him & Fabio, 2 of the few genuinely talented players, up top? We have to try everything, and there's little point going into an aerial battle with West Ham.
Cant be underestimated how big a blow that Cardiff goal will have been to West Brom. It'll feel like a devastating loss and they'll be wondering if they are capable of beating anyone. What's Mel's record look like since he took over? W:1 D:6 L:5 9 points from 12 games. We are rock bottom of the form guide.
Going off Poyets comments I think it'll be a 4-3-3 with Wickham through the middle and Johnson and Borini wide. Giaccherini was woeful at Liverpool and even worse in the cup at Hull
Aye, but would you, a full Italy international, be at your best without a run for a god awful side, when Seb gets picked etc? I ****ing feel for the lad me mate.
I'd agree if we weren't playing Cardiff & West Brom ........ those games make it slightly more complicated. Win those and we should be fine.
