Really need to find a player who can put the ball in the net as we are really lacking options. Haven't got a clue who is available but need some clinical as its all we are lacking

Only joking Dam, that has to be it for the lad now. Can't understand why Gus didn't play him left, (where he does for USA) and Conner through the middle. It was an ideal chance to let Conner loose through the centre.

Easy answer mate Josie has two left feet, and would have been running to touch all the time, instead of playing down the middle and running in circles.

Maybe Alvarez or Buckley should have been out left, Conner thru the middle. Hate these lads getting played out of position.

Not a good performance by us, they let us do our pretty patterns but had the last third closed off leaving our front men little to work with. Wickham needs to stop believing he is a gifted footballer and stop trying things he is incapable of. A lot of times he had runners going forward to use but chose to keep the ball and squandered it with a poor pass. If he went to shoot himself in the foot he would miss.

The half time stats said it all for me, they had six shots on target and we had one' from a very dubious penalty.

Just got back in from the match & all I got to say is we are ****ing boring to watch. hasn't Gus the ****ing great Poyet got any ability to change tactics or formations like? the best players again were cattermole, Larsson & O'Shea & that says it all really.

Now let's get to Altidore. If you take away the chance he ****ed up then in my eyes he played decent again but at the end of the day he is in the team to score & the lad ****ed up. I think that be his last chance for Sunderland so all the best for the future Jozy lad.

Couldn't agree more about Wickham & that pal. some ****ing people think this lad has came of age & played well today <laugh> the lad doesn't no when to pass or when to shoot for **** sake.

I agree to a point re half time stats... But I can't remember Pantillimon doing anything but catch or fall on poor shots. Had their goal not deflected it'd have been a comfortable save too. Nothing testing at all. The penalty there was contact but he went down easily. Carroll got at least 10 free kicks for less contact than that today spout Allardyce won't admit to that or the blatant handball which wasn't guven. Wickham got a booking for foot up? WTF is that about?

I rate Wickham and admit to that. But I certainly don't think he's "come of age". He's 21 and is in his first full season at SAFC playing regularly. He did OK today at times and others OMG!! Rage em Sterling is on more than his reported 60k a week and he's looking rubbish from what I've seen. But his fans and the press are giving him leeway because of his age. Wickham gets none from a lot.

agreed but whu are a team in form, a point isnt bad but should have been 3, a 10 game season card is looking better all the time for those who havnt already taken the plunge

The age thing doesn't wash with me pal sorry. the lad has played all season & I can only think of the Stoke game when Wickham played class. the lad just doesn't do enough for me.

See the age thing does wash with me. sterling looked awesome last season. He's been fairly average at best this season. Only thing can be age IMO. I remember what I was like at 21 so guve some leeway. Just an opinion though

Almost threw the iPad across the room when Jozy missed. To rub it in, a little later I see a very similar play in the City game. Low cross across the box to Lampard. A little behind him and on his wrong foot. Result? Calmly and superbly deposits the ball to the back of the net. For everyone's sake, Jozy has to move on.
