All you miserable t*ats get a grip, we won a huge pressure game and all you do is bleat on, f*ck off, that is why we struggle at home. BE HAPPY ! Gus has worked wonders with other peoples signings, Bring On The Magpies…relax and enjoy boys and girls, we are out the bottom 3 !!<cheers>

You **** off.
We were ****ing dire against ten men and were getting worse as the game went on.
This wasn't ten men sitting back and absorbing pressure and being hard to break down.
At times they had 5 against 3 in our half!
Stop blaming the support when the team plays ****.

Quoted for ****ing truth.

I meant to tune into this but ultimately forget your club existed for the evening until just now.

Sorry Mr but I kind of disagree with you. The only thing that mattered today was result. Performance was not important and we got 3 points. How many times have we played well and lost? Today we did what we have to do. I'm happy

This. All teams play badly. It's the ability win when playing badly which enables a team picks up trophys, look at the time fergie won the league with weak man u squads from doing exactly that. Buzzing with three points, buzzing being out of the bottom 3. Three points against the scum playing badly will do me just fine.

We're out of the bottom 3! <party>

Would have been a fair point if it was one of the big teams Marcus.
After the start we made and then the sending off, I was expecting us to put Stoke to the sword and reduce our goal difference.
What I saw was how much Catts was missed and how useful Bardsley is to our team, he was badly missed that second half.
Catts does a better job than Ki in front of the back four.
And Ki does a better job further forward instead of Larsson.

If it was a case of Stoke sitting back and absorbing, I could have been more relaxed.
They didn't and we looked toothless up top again.

That's a coincidence! We're playing the scum on Saturday as well.

Can't understand your fans. The more Poyet bails you out the ****, the less turn up. Strange.

Folk might be saving for Wembley. <whistle> 36,601 is the average premiership crowd so we're hardly letting ourselves down on a night match off the back of our fixture pile up in an area struggling for their pennies.

Not taking the piss mate, but your crowds, more so the cup games, are on the decline. 25k of your fans for the semi against Man utd, 17k against Chelsea, 15k against Carlisle and 21k against Kidderminster. Something going wrong somewhere?

Of course you're taking the piss.
You aren't taking any other circumstances into consideration.
Your lot only have the league games to worry about and pay for.
Money is tight for most people right now.

The reason people are not turning up is because the atmosphere is dire..Yes it was not the best performance or the best of games, but it was a bloody important 3 points. Well done to the SAFC crowd for yet another successful sponsored silence! The Sunderland home support this season has been nothing short of abysmal even like games such as tonight that were vitally important..

Why are you esquine abusers so concerned with our crowds, by any standards in the Premiership they are very good.

There will be about 45,000 of us in Wembley in a few weeks time, thats all you need to concern yourself with bonny lad

So we learnt a lot on our side... Played badly... Won... Got out of the bottom three... What could've gone better?

I have never seen a Sunderland v Stoke match that I would call memorable. Today was no exception. It won't stick in the memory but if we stay up by a point it will make all of the difference

tbh all I care about is our results

Better crowds will come, battling relegation year on year will have taken its toll
