Actually Tom, you weren't "wrong" at all. You had an opinion on the team selection that wasn't right or wrong. It is the lack of trying to understand why the manager may choose to pick his team that he does and some people diving straight in with a critical comment about that selection. My view is that if we'd lost, it still wouldn't have meant that Ron was wrong to pick Maya. He had his reasons and no one here really knew what they we're. People need to remember that attacking is an important part of defending, just as much is defending is an important part of attacking. You can win a game of chess without your Queen.
Of course but not essential Actually, I'll edit that to say: "sometimes"... Didn't you and I sit together for the Everton home game last season with a few "Queens" missing and we won 3-0?
Can I just say I think its cracking that we ground out an ugly result against a team who has got the better of us many times. Yes they are bad but BFS teams are never easy to beat.
No it was the Everton game the season before where we won because Everton, very kindly, scored 2 goals for us.
Exactly my point at the end of the last game. But had plenty of rubbish talked on here in response to me from people that simply don't have a clue what they're talking about. To protect the lead you want to have as much of the ball as possible. The opposition cannot score when they don't have the ball. I really don't know why something so basic can't get into the thick skulls of some people. As for Pochettino. The guy is a brilliant tactician. It's not his fault our players' finishing was absolutely abysmal at times under him. We made plenty more individual defensive errors leading to goals under him too.
I agreed with you on that but I'm confused because you call so many people thick, stupid, clowns and idiotic that it is hard to keep up. Perhaps you should try a polite discussion without the abuse. You may be surprised by what happens.

Suggested second draft. Might get more constructive replies with this sort of approach.
Why can't we win the games 9-0? All you have to do is kick the ball past the GK! You can even use your head if you want! If we won every game 9-0, we would win the league. It's so simple, but no one here gets it and somehow everyone disagrees with my obviously winning strategy! I mean, yeah we won against Sunderland, but we scored only 1 goal. That won't cut it against the good sides. Why can't you guys see we just got lucky?!?
