    That's pretty much how all Saints fans fell about Poyet. He was an absolute arse with Brighton and genuinely hated us after we employed Alan Pardew instead of him in 2009. His Brighton teams were also notorious for play-acting and generally cheating in games against us. Without anything against Sunderland, I hope we absolutely destroy Poyet.

    He was an arse, encouraged Brighton ball boys to not give us the ball. Used a comment from Nigel Adkins as " inspiration" for his team to win League 1. Almost cried in his post match interview when we beat them at the withdean with 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. Said that without Barnard and Lambert we would be worse than Dagenham and Redbridge. All I can say is watch his interview on YouTube after we beat them 1-2, it's priceless.

    It's not a grudge on our part, we've been infinitely more successful than Poyet in the last 3 seasons.

    To be fair to Southampton, I think the Portsmouth match is a derby ....... Brighton seem to scrat around trying to find someone who's bothered about them.
