Agree wit all mate, most worryingly the fact that McClaren wouldn't leave Derby for us cos the club is a poisoned chalice.

**** thing is, we only want someone who gets it and appreciates the club, like Reid, like Denis Smith, like Bob Stokoe.

frankly, in wider world terms, none of them were exactly Mourinho were they? But they got it.

Gus has certainly made lots of mistakes in his tactics ans selection, but I'm still very much supportive of him and hope he can learn from these mistakes and move on..

So right and so clear, why can't a well paid ex professional footballer see this, he is clueless , any body can make a mistake but he keeps repeating them over and over again. His team selections are a mystery, his substitutions never affect a game, he is tactically inept. Gus off.

Unlucky Mackem's. Reading through this thread was just like reading through one of ours when Redknapp was in charge. You'll be fine, get behind your team, you're a great club and a real one that most proper fans have a lot of respect for.

I'm astounded at the team selection and the way you performed tonight. There is no way I would've stuck my money on us. Bloody football eh? I'm astonished as are most R's fans that we got a result at your place. I didn't expect that. I've always liked the Mackems. Ever since I was an 7 yr old in 1973 to see you win the FA cup. It's the first FA Cup final that I can remember. Anyway, I doubt that anything that an opposition fan has to say will offer any solace. But all the best for the rest of the season.

Sorry but he keeps on making mistakes. He will never learn.

    Time to go.

I think most of us knew after 5 minutes that it wasn't going to work with that set up ......... the worry is that the manager didn't.

Good luck for the rest of the season <ok>

You could be right about us going down, we're a bit sh1t, & we haven't got a point away till February. Yet for all that we're 2 points shy of this team that's defo staying up IYO!! You must be a bloody good team when you're not playing QPR, cos you're sh1te n'all when you are !!

That was as bad as I've seen us tbh .... it was also the best I've seen QPR play.

I can't see Sunderland going down and I've seen a fair few relegation battles.

I'm not saying QPR will do down for sour grapes.
I just think the injuries will tell as the season goes on, Fer looks like he could be added to the list.

But it's your fixtures that make me believe you'll go down, I can't see you gaining many points from your 6 home games, they're tough.

Looking at our fixtures and the continuing inability to perform well against our relegation rivals at home (burnley the exception) suggests to me that we will go down! Things need to change pronto! You'd have thought that we were the team who were in the deeper trouble out of the two. The amount of times we hand teams who are struggling more than we are a confidence boosting freebie is staggering! I wish I could just realise that things will never change and that whether it is this season, or within the next five or ten years, our luck will run out and we will go down eventually!

We did play well last night, you got done by new manager bounce, would've been an easy 3 points last week!

You looking forward to your Pardew reunion tonight?

Pardew's gonna know all your weaknesses and everything about Carver I'd expect. Do Palace have the players to give you lot the runaround?

I can see a score draw on the cards, Perez has got too much for their back line in my opinion and you'll struggle to keep Palace out.

Cabella will have a point to prove as well, Pardew more or less wrote him off.

I had a ticket for tonight actually, was going to be catching the Megabus in town at about 8:30am for a 7 hou journey down, just as a did for Spurs away. Unfortunately I couldn't get time off placement tomorrow so had to give it up. Was really looking forward to it and am interested to see the fans reaction to Pardew, I'd have booed but I expect a few jeers and some respectful applause tbh.
As for the game, I'm pretty much agreeing with you. We're a better side than Palace and we seem to do well down there, but Carver is Pardew's protege and I reckon Pardew will have him all figured out. Can't see either team keeping a clean sheet, especially if Williamson starts. Pardew seems to have adopted a pretty attack minded approach at Palace, something we begged for him to do for 4 years at Newcastle and he never would. Cabella should never have been written off, quality player in my opinion and what football is about, gets you on the edge of your seat. He'll keep getting better I reckon. Same for Perez, he's one of the main reasons to get excited about watching us at the minute, unbelievable potential. I'd love to get one over on him and win but in reality I will take anything other than losing to the prick. I'll sit on the fence aswell and say 1-1.

Good luck to you lot, can't stand anything good going his way. He's a pathetic tosser as far as I'm concerned <ok>

That Megabus that goes to London sounds a treat, how much do they charge for the privilege of a 7 hour journey?

You won't find any disagreement from me there.

It's really not too bad actually, as long as you're with a few of the lads. Can have a bit of craic, play cards, daft ipod games. Atmosphere is usually canny too, it flies over. Costs a tenner return <laugh>

What's a friendly wager ......... is it different to a normal one?

One of the QPR lads has beaten you to it, £100 to charity from the loser.
