See I thought that - but I haven't seen him break sweat yet - he's just "assured" for want of a better term and looks very fit! (not in a wolf-whistle way!)
Could give Connor a chance down the middle and a starting spot for Alvarez. Good to have options. Hoping Giacc and Jones make the bench too.
A fair point and I was part of that exodus. Went outside and just sat under the massive billboards contemplating how a club that once had tradition and values had now sold it's soul to corporate cockney scum. The day, Pardew, Ashley and co are out of Newcastle there will be massive celebration. Massive. The lads and I have already planned our party on the toon when that day comes.
you even edited that and you still cannae spell or come up with anything vaguely funny. Keep licking the windows
Now I am lost by this, you stand high in the league, incoming players who are performing well leading to you being an in form team. Looks as if the owner are getting it right which is more than KK did when he carried on going all out for wins rather than preserving a 10 point lead to the league title. Money is money, whether it is JHohn Hall's, Freddie Shepherd's or Ashley's. In my lifetime the traditional values were best summed up in the '50s.
Good Lord fredor, you are really getting to me now ...not sure I can cope with this ... PS: fredor's self-portrait [nsfw] please log in to view this image [/nsfw]

We have an owner who wants us to deliberately throw the cups, and make sure we don't quite finish high enough to get in the Europa League. A manager who is more than willing to throw the cups (the fact we are in a quarter is fluke, we played a second string against man city and won) and who comes out with phrases such as "thank god we aren't in Europe." European nights and cup glory are the only thing we can really dream of, mid table mediocrity is alright for some, but not us, we tasted Champions League and title challenges in the last couple of decades. Having no hope for anything other than being solid mid table is soul destroying.
I can see why some teams would rather stay out Europe to be honest, its a drain on resources and the early rounds are often less than riveting, a straight forward knockout competition would be better imo.
