As much as I dislike villa... I'd prefer us to be safe by close of play today and hull and Newcastle fight it out on the last day

Ideally we win and everyone around us loses mate, no doubt but it could be a very interesting day. Could go very right for us or spectacularly wrong.

I can't attend another game this season on the quacks orders incase I get a knock to the head where there's big crowds. I'll be there in spirit though lads, massively important game so give them that extra loud cheer from me and support them all the way to the end. We need to be in this together today, more then any other time <ok>

Good to see Giaccherini and Johnson on the bench, good options to bring on later in the game

O'Shea returns to starting XI.

Dick Advocaat has named his side for the final home game of the 2014-15 campaign.

The Dutchman has made two changes to the side that won 2-0 at Goodison Park last week, with skipper John O’Shea returning after recovering from injury.

The Irishman replaces Wes Brown in defence; whilst Liam Bridcutt comes in for the injured Jordi Gomez in midfield.

Elsewhere, Emanuele Giaccherini is on the bench, it’s the first time the Italian has been named in the squad since the FA Cup clash at Fulham in February due to injury; his last game at the Stadium of Light was on Boxing Day.

Sunderland: Pantilimon, Jones, van Aanholt, O'Shea (c), Coates, Bridcutt, Cattermole, Larsson, Wickham, Graham, Defoe.

Subs: Fletcher, Johnson, Reveillere, Giaccherini, Vergini, Buckley, Mannone.

Any links would be greatly appreciated. Be3e first row and they're not working for me (unless I have to wait until 3?)
