Think the ovation was for Adam Johnson coming on, rather than Bridcutt going off mate ;-)

No it was def for Brid. Think the timing was responsible, Spurs and QPR had just scored and everyone was buzzing

This will mean very little to most folk but I just wanted to mention this lad who's been the upstairs barman at the Victory for the past few years.

He's taken all manner of stick, intervened in a few disputes and always had a smile on his face.

Now he's off to Uni and, hopefully, on to bigger and better things.

Generally known as 'Meat Loaf' he'll be well missed after being a big part of our lives ....... all the best son <ok>

Did he bollocks . . . . there was a massive dose of the clap when he went off, but it certainly wasn't an ovation for that useless Championship standard (at best) player <doh>

There's absolutely nee way in the world that I'd applaud his contribution/hindrance and I was clapping at that time <applause> . . . . and I'm annoyed that somebody thinks that I/we might have been showing appreciation for him :emoticon-0120-doh:

What were you clapping for then?! Very poorly timed clapping that, could very easily be misconstrued

I thought the same. The applause was all for AJ standing on the touchline waiting to come on.
