I know that's written in Hull folklore but I don't see it quite like that. Cattermole was fired up, in the wrong way, because of Bruce and it was bigged up as a crunch match ....... he took his crunch a bit too far. It was a definite yellow but a dodgy red, imo. Dossena should've been driven straight to the airport after that, it's no surprise that he's been dumped out of the first team. It ws one of the worst games I've ever seen and neither team played well, I hope it's a mile better entertainment this weekend.

I don't suppose there's a touch of bias there Brady At the end of the day you bossed the game so much you only managed TWO shots on target in the entire game ... not just the first half! See, that's the difference between biased opinion and clear facts.
We kept the ball very well before the two sendings off. Dossena & Cattermole were both chasing shadows. Granted you had the better chances in the second half. If you'd started the match like that you'd have probably gone away with the points.
The difference between us then and us now is immense. We were P9 W1 D1 L7 when we went to Hull. We're P9 W4 D4 L1 in the last nine. And in a cup final. And have doubled our bitterest rivals.

That's pretty fair tbh ....... you kept the ball but did nowt with it, we even had to score your goal. McShane injuring our keeper and having to throw Mannone on, for his debut, didn't help the side settle and the sendings off threw the game away. We had to bring on 3 subs before half time but still almost drew the match, Johnson would score that chance now. I think it will be an entertaining game and a few goals. Sadly I've just had to cancel the trip back to see it, our lass isn't too good and I'm away for 3 days for Wembley.

That's just it bb, your mentioning one player. Just like your mention long or jelavic, one player does not make a team. Altidore hasn't scored much but he's been holding the ball up well and contributing to our goals. You'll soon get frustrated with sb over this. **** hits the fan with him and he's quickly found out, at least you'll have a couple of super league teams to follow next year. Johnson always had the talent but so inconsistent when he's in one if his form periods he's ****ing immense and I worry about him v figgy 1 on 1 should it occur
Only 6 month left on his contract fella. If they refused our offer he could have just opened talks about a move for free in the summer. He's one player who would have come relegated or not.
