I think he'll go 442 and give us the extra man in the midfield, I really think it's that stupid.

TBH, he's brought it on himself ......... most were relieved when he went and wished him well. It's a shame he just can't shut up about Sunderland.

Seriously, does it not get on your nerves? All he has to do is say to the media, "I'm here to talk about Hull City," and that would be that.

He'd have a lot more respect, up here, if he did.

You are only allowed 11 players on at any one time. We can't swamp the midfield with almost half a million.

    Don't get so wound up mate, he's stating a fact ............... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2011/aug/24/sunderland-steve-bruce-swansea

Since arriving at the Stadium of Light two years ago, Bruce has had a woeful record in both domestic cups and is still to defeat a Newcastle side who thrashed his team 5-1 at St James' Park last autumn.

Although Sunderland recovered from that blow to rise, briefly, to sixth in the Premier League, a collapse in form during the second half of the season meant their ultimate 10th-place finish was deceptive.

This summer a manager who has made big profits selling Darren Bent and Jordan Henderson to Aston Villa and Liverpool respectively, was allowed to reinvest £30m on 10 players by the club's wealthy owner, Ellis Short. In exchange, Short expects a significant improvement.

Bruce, who continues to pursue Manchester City's Craig Bellamy, accepts his existing strikers need to start scoring, fast. "Failure to take chances is our achilles heel," said the manager who started with Stéphane Sessègnon, signed as a midfielder, as his lone striker at Brighton but finished the game with Asamoah Gyan, Connor Wickham and Ji Dong-won all involved. "It's a big concern."

After all I have written, you focus on that one sentence. My point proven.

All in all, it doesn't really. At first, it was strange that he mentioned you lot in every interview. It was understandable as it damaged his career and he obviously felt he could have turned it around. But probably for the last year, he never really mentions you lot unless he is asked.

I don't think it's his role to say "I'm here to talk about Hull". It's no secret how it ended with you, it doesn't bother our fans half as much as it bothers yours.

According to sky sports Catts is back. I'd rather he's on the bench. Bridcutt has earned his place.

433/451 Variation. It's hard to nail our formation, we press high and we're very expressive.

When was the last time you watched us over 90 minutes may I ask? Just so I can gauge where we were last time you saw us.

I think Bridcutt is a great signing for you. I would have liked us to have signed him, but Poyet swayed it for you.

Probably the Man Utd game at your place. I was very impressed with you, made Man Utd look very average for the first half an hour. You may find this hard to believe, but I was cheering and celebrating with you lot for that game!

Lewis man, you brought it up and I answered it ...... why focus on that and not the other polite responses I've given you?

He's stating a fact, albeit with a touch or irony & sarcasm, which is worth a mention.

A lot of Sunderland people travelled to Brighton and watched us put 11 men behind the ball and no striker on the pitch.

It's part of the discussion as we were talking about what tactics Bruce will employ ........ you don't know so how can we?

It just surprises me. I don't understand how a club can have such a vendetta.

Anyway, I'm off for a bit. Good luck boys, hopefully you won't be too happy at the final whistle. I'd take a draw right now.

3 at the back for Hull? Good news, get the ball out to Johnson and Borini quickly. Exploit the spaces
