Yeah, I'm not really that active. This is the most active I've been since joining to be honest. I have been lurking for a year though... was on the old bbc 606 board.

  2. I actually agree with you.

A win for Newcastle would mean if we beat Spurs in our next PL game we would be 4 points behind them.

Because Sunderland made it hard. They pressed well once the ball came into the midfield and after letting the defenders have the ball. But they could not keep it and we took advantage late on. As for out wide, they doubled up well on Theo and AOC. Sunderland under MON have an amazing work ethic and they are tough side to crack. Even under Bruce, defending was never a problem for them. We are the first side to beat Sunderland at SOL under O'Neill for a reason.

You're right actually. Hopefully Ba will smash a couple past the Spuds.

  6. They did double up well on both sides, but when team do that it leaves space in the middle, or opportunities to switch play quickly to the other wing. We didnt do that - too slow and too willing to go backwards.

Sunderlands goal came from 2+ minutes of possession from us - going nowhere. We eventually gave it away.

We simply need to play with more pace and more intelligence. We have a very very tough run of games coming up - performances like todays will not be good enough.

Hehehehehe ... I'm looking forward to match of the day today !!!

Its these sort of wins that will mould our season, against tough teams like the new Sunderland. I didn't see the game but, Ramsey isn't **** at all and those claiming that are being OTT. He has had ver good games for us in the past but I feel playing him regularly is not the answer, he needs to be rested, he was looking tired earlier in the season. Ramsey has BIG potential, both footed and good on the ball.

What about Henry ? You see what we are missing and what we DESPERATELY need ... a player who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. No substitute for class.

The Hot Head is now mildly optimistic woooooo hoooooooooo :)

Still do not see how that equates to a '****' performance. We could not move it quick on an awful pitch and against a team that defend as well in numbers as Sunderland. Just like how Ramsey all of sudden become a **** player. Everything is either world class or ****. But then again that is typical of everything in football these days. No middle ground for anything.

  13. I said Ramsey did well today - and if you check my posts i have said he has played **** this year but has the potential to improve. Thats a pretty fair assessment in my view. Wenger obviously thinks he isnt quite good enough yet too, because he has been benched.

I think our stupid short go nowhere passing game in midfield is **** and boring - thats just my opinion. You might like it, but I just disagree with you.

I think we have to settle for the fact that Spurs will finish above us this season.

Doesn't matter as long as we get top four to be honest - It's a blip. I think that if Harry leaves, or two out of VDV, Modric or Bale leave, then they'll go into decline.

Newcastle are sh1t aint they .

I wouldnt expect them to beat spurs.

But a loss keeps them off our heels so win / win .

  17. They are acutally still in the title race which is more worrying - right in it. Just 5 points behind.

  20. And that 'crock' Saha who was a bad signing has scored 2. We could have done with him at Arsenal. When fit, closest to Henry I have seen.
