How did Guedioura play when he came on? Pushing for a start?

People won´t like to read this, but I thought he lost the ball a lot, something Jurado didn´t do. One of Guedioura´s stray passes nearly cost us. Jurado kept the ball well, linked up well with Ake. I wouldn´t be surprised to see him start again against the scousers. Jurado isn´t as all action as the Guedioura but I bet he had better % of passes completed. Maybe Guedioura was trying to hard when he came on.

In that three, we have the toughest competition too.

    Jurado / Guedioura / Deeney / Abdi / Anya / Parades / Diamante / Irbabo / Berghuis.

So a suspension or loss of form, well plenty there for the top tree behind the one striker. well 2 places really, because if Deeney and Ighalo are fit they are shoe-ins ATM.

I also though Guedioura gave the ball away and twice Sunderland had chances. Once in attack, rather than keep posession he tried a difficult attacking pass & Sunderland broke fast & got a chance and then worse at our corner flag he backhealed the ball straight to them and they should have scored. I really like him but for the first time I saw what Flores had been saying. Other than that he was fine and nearly scored! :)
I still think Jurado doesn't defend enough and left Ake exposed and in attack it is Abdi creating the chances and Jurado passing safe. He is working hard and improving game by game but I would be dissapointed if he was picked ahead of Abdi.

Abdi is a much sounder player and a great passer of the ball... and strikes well too

Guedioura has more flair and can change a game....

Mmmmmm...maybe not ready for a start then. Thought he looked sharp when he came on at Villa.

I think if he started he would have to play differently.... he tries to be high impact and we need more stability IMO

    MOTM - Gomes
Just to finish this thread, when Defoe hit that shot my heart dropped, it was in the net. I was speechless for a good second to see Gomes claw that away; brilliant!
