https://www.google.com/amp/s/rokerr...derlands-issues-outlines-plan-for-improvement Not expecting much, hopefully we grind out a win and build on it, It's that spark, that little click through adjustment i hope for and you go "wow, where the fook did that come from and why wasn't it done before" ?
Sounds crazy and technically its not but it feels like a must win game tonight like. If we do lose it better be after battling and working arse off for 90 mins. Need no complacency need to be straight out firing 100% and bringing the game to them perfect game for the manager to make his mark and get all the fans on his side.
Not sure about that team tbh. I know its just a guess but it has to familiar a look about it up front, early days, but I am looking for fresh ideas. But I will take a win tonight whatever the line up or circumstances, we need the 3 points.
Decided as I listened to the last 2 games on the radio and we both lost and were shocking, im going to avoid the radio tonight as i'm a jinx
here goes - Ill stake a 2-0 win for the lads. Workmanlike, unspectacular, solid, disciplined, and confidence repairing. I am hoping he gets rid of the sloppiness we have displayed. Confidence, confidence, confidence
Don't like betting on Sunderland as when I do we always lose and would never bet against us. Thought about it once as thought the jinx would go the other way but couldn't bring myself to bet against the lads.
It looks OK to me - McNulty might help make things happen for Will Grigg. I wouldn't mess around with the defence as it was very clear that 3 at the back wasn't working. I'd like to see Kimpioka given a second chance from the bench - at least he closes down the defenders when we lose the ball.
McNulty is not in that starting line up, so it looks like its just Grigg up front on his own flanked by Gooch and Maguire, ttree of the most self interested players at the club, if they dont score they make sure no one else will, this is an OK attitude for an out and out striker if that is what Grigg is, so we are told, but all three of them have been tried and tested failures so far, hence my ref to more of the same, if thats all we are going to get, I'm a worried man.
2 cold pint tins of Stella down another 4 in the fridge time to clean kitchen whilst listen to Total Sport and get my scran cooked ready for the match. HWTL
must win tonight cant afford to fall further behind promotion race leaving soon for match Haway The Lads
Jim on total sport saying he's sick of the negativity so him and his partner not using their SC tonight.... Not the type of fans we need anyway man ffs new manager first home game and going on like that... Give the bloke a chance!
