    He's a thick skunk mate.
He will get bored soon, or his neighbour will come home and stop him piggybacking on their internet. <ok>

Had a good laugh yesterday with some Mackem fans after the game that I met in the chip shop. General chit chats about how the game went, not many teams come to the lane willing to have a go and I certainly think Sunderland gave a good account of themselves, we could all see that they miss Bent and Gyan and that the need for a new striker is literally a must. Also talking about how much we missed Bale, which they replied "What team wouldn't!" which was a fair point. Then spoke about the great appointment of MoN for them and regardless of today's result, he'll definitely turn things around especially with the funds (hopefully) to strengthen in January. Overall just had a really good chat, it's not usual I get to speak to away fans and have a good laugh, usually telling one-another to do one (in so many words <whistle>). After that, definitely have a soft spot so to speak and I wish Sunderland all the very best for the season <ok>

In regards to the game, I thought Sandro and Gallas looked really good. Was both their best games for us this season I think, Sandro looks back to full fitness and was typically chasing everything down and Gallas was looking like the player of last season. Ade was working hard but his finishing let him down and Benny and Walker showed loads of energy to take on their roles plus the roles of Bale and Lennon respectively (though they were greatly missed). Friedel looked typically good, dealt with everything, never feel like having a "heart in mouth" moment when he goes up for a catch and if the balls hit at him I know he want flap, Scotty and Ledley were just typically top class and don't really need any mentions as it just becomes expected now.

Overall a solid performance, not our best but certainly not our worst, was good to see us get a win with two key players missing (three if you count Younes) and be able to beat a rejuvinated Sunderland who caused us problems at times. A final mention has to be said however, LUKA MODRIC, hang your head in shame! <laugh>. Miss of the season?

    Anyway, bring on Chelsea!
