If O'Shea & Kaboul are still out -----------Pantilimon------------- Yedlin---Coates---Rodwell---Jones -------Larsson-Mvila-Catts------- Johnson----Fletcher--------Borini Lens Watmore and Defoe from the bench.
Watmore is taking his chance isn't he ....... some promising lads freeze, on the big stage, but he seems determined to be a top player.
This is the crack so far. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php#c18
8888 Spot on, we have given away at least three players in the last couple of windows far better than JR, he is probably the worst example,(and there have been a few), of how not to spend money in the transfer windows, no wonder ES is reluctant to splash the cash.
Sad but true! But none of us thought that the day he signed. I still hold out hope that he'll come good... But sadly that hope is dwindling every time I see him play!
Agreed piss poor...but you have to splash the cash. Every team makes bad buys , just part of the game. We have been on a horrible run of ****e signings like
Agree - only thing Brown or whoever needs to make it a tackle or if a late foul - yellow/red card territory - btw - who's the ref - ? give an idea how we"ll do - imo only ?
No bother at all Smug. I'd rather see my ticket go to someone I know will getuse from it than give it to someowho said he'd rather watch it in the pub! Enjoy
Mike Jones - can;t remember anything of note he's ever done "against" us - that said, I said te same about whoever booke Sagna for stopping Altidore scoring even though he scored!
Cheers mate, I'll put you in my little black book on the 'Pints owed' page Hopefully, for you, I won't make a mistake and put it under 'people who are due a slap' or 'lasses I'd like to shag'
-lol - aye not many good refs for us but MJ but I really feel we are nearly ready to leap forward - -real flying start to improve after Jan transfer window - but I might just be deluded -too positive - but ready for Southampton game -ticket for Stoke - part time ( for now)-few away games for me - but forever a grounded mackem SAFC fan
Sam Allardyce has been handed a boost ahead of Sunderland’s Barclays Premier League match against Southampton with four players returning to training. Fabio Borini, Ola Toivonen, Younes Kaboul and John O’Shea are all in contention for Saturday’s match at the Stadium of Light. The quartet missed the Black Cats' defeat at Everton due to injury but all four have since returned to training. “The good news is Ola, Fabio, Younes and John all trained today,” said Allardyce. “With no reaction from their first training session back in the squad they will be available for selection on Saturday which is important.” However, one player who looks set to miss out is Lee Cattermole who was taken off in the first half against Everton with a groin injury. “I don’t think it’s that serious but Lee certainly won’t be fit for the weekend. I think after the international break I will expect him to be fit when all the players get back. “We have to wait until Monday when we play so I think he has enough time to recover when we play Crystal Palace.”
Hi guys, saints fan, I can see one of your lot you giving Mane a "love tap" early on and just making yourself a nuisance around Pelle, I think we'll be in for a long sometimes frustrating afternoon resulting in a hard thought 1-0 win for us, saying that if we can't solve our ongoing problem of not turning up in the 2nd half then who knows. Overall Alladyce will make you harder to beat.
