Whatever it takes to get Sanderson in the summer. I would even buy him with them having a buy back clause. He is so good it is outrageous in this league. He would look class in the championship as well. Not seen a better centre half all season.

We've done canny with 3 at the back before. So it's a definite option. As RTB said, if LJ wants to go with a back four, Younger looked like he could do a good job at Left Back.

And both of them played way better than him today.

When our injured players are fit again do they come straight back into the team? I know it’s a makeshift defence and midfield at the minute but do we risk unsettling the side that’s doing well ?

Round pegs in round holes and all that but changing 4 or 5 players in the starting eleven might take time to adjust. Granted they won’t all be back the same week but it’ll happen over 2 or 3 weeks I’d imagine.

    If Hume is fit yes
    If Wright is fit yes
    If Willis is fit yes.
Get our defenders back in and our makeshift defenders back in midfield.

Tbf to the lads who have had to step in, they’ve shown they’re competent enough to do the job so I think we can maybe ease the defenders back in without rushing them. But once they’re back to full fitness I’d be having the likes of Wright back in personally, especially when we’re going to be face the better sides who are more of a threat than the recent opposition.

Connor Mac back in right side. Wright back in left side. Sanderson has to stay middle of back three as he is best we have.

Hume back in as well. The rest maybe have a harder job.

Agree with Hume and Wright, Willis never seems 100% when he’s come back previously. I’d like every player in their natural position but I’d rather they were staggered returns.

Yeah when Hume is back he goes straight back in, ditto Wright. Massive amount of credit to O'Nien for his performances at CB and he probably could play there indefinitely to be fair, but we miss his goal threat and link up play in midfield. He still gets back to defend and hurl himself in front of shots even if he's not in defence.

It will give LJ a helluva selection headache if they ever were all fit.

Do we know how far off Hume is? Think he's training now but I wonder when he'll be available.

If you want to have a go at a midfielder...Winchester has to be a lot worse than Power. Power has a got a big gob and is a leader on the pitch. Do I think he is very good no.. if we go up hopefully he ( and a lot others will need replacing). But for where we are and what we have to do for the next 16? Games his strength will be helpful.

Not having a pop but I think we have better choices, when fit, than Power.
Re: Winchester. I think he needs more time and a run of games before I decide on him.

You realise how young he is when talking about his first goal. I forget that when watching him play, he is like a 26 year old on the pitch. He really is a class act.

Pay it. He has only got a 1 yr extension contract with Wolves. What do you think? £5 mil or more?

I think 09 would do a better job than power in his position, always looking to play forward and the backwards pass isn’t the first thing on his mind. Be a good captain too.

I think they would want more, championship experience as well. PL clubs don't often let them go cheap. They would have a hefty sell on as well no doubt. Just hope we go up so we are in with a shot because there is no way he will be in league one next season.

Pressure is surely on Pompey on Tuesday. Lose and they are in danger of dropping out of the play off places. We draw its a decent point. We win and its massive. We lose the play off places still look good.
