Biggest thing for me is Gooch has to remain RWB.

I'd keep O'Nien centre back, but even if Parky brings in Flanagan, I'd like Gooch to remain.

Think he is just a better fit than O'Nien there, can run with the ball and a better crosser of the ball, offers us good width.

After the chances he's recently created I think it would be wrong to drop Gooch.

I think you are right, I've just read Parky's comments from the press conference and he's giving praise to the versatile players O'Nien and Gooch.
However Parky has previous for piling on the praise before a game but then not picking the player (i.e. Diamond, Neil, Kimpioka)
Who does he drop though? - Power is the captain so it's likely that Scowen will be the one to step down.

That's a good point about Gooch's crossing like, its a good problem to have. I can't see Onien being dropped regardless of who comes in, which I 100% agree with.

I didnt realise how much KJ was disliked and that their supporters are pretty much unanimous that his days are numbered.

Massive game and a big test but I fancy us strongly.

I can't see Willis and Flanagan not starting if fully fit. He'll want their aerial strength against this lot

KJ has failed 3 times and is making no progress.

I thi k we'll get a grip early on and beat them comfortably.

Maguire and O'Nien will torment them imo.

I've gone for the lads to win this one. Think we're in for another action packed 1-0 although I'm hoping for a 5 goal hammering for my first stream of the season.

Yeah I certainly wouldnt be dropping Gooch. Play Wright Onien and 1 of Willis or Flanagan as the back 3 depending on who is most match fit. Failing that Gooch plays higher up the pitch as imo hes our most effective player.

Gooch is on form and making goals, the one thing we're short of ...

... don't see how he can be dropped tbh.

It'll be interesting to see the team tomorrow, maybe there's finally going to be a chance for O'Nien to play in midfield if Parky thinks Gooch makes a better RWB. One way or another Luke will be in the team but maybe not in defence.

I don't see why we should be scared of Portsmouth yes they're a decent side but we've already played a few of those and made them look below average. With everything being different this season I don't put any stock in past results meaning anything for this one.

Just paid for the match, can’t wait for this one. Hoping we stuff them as we owe them one from last season where we didn’t get our home game played.

Its a dangerous game and I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome but we are playing well and you can tell that the players now fully believe in Parky's system and are completely tuned into it.

I we can win we are really on our way.

I have just been reading that bellend Portsmouth fan who always gets his mush on camera is traveling up to Sunderland to ring a bell in the car park outside the ground.
