They were few and far between . . . . and due to fiddling with the figures (allegedly) and your lads not taking their full allocation
I have got mine for £20, mind there was VAT added for some reason, we need a full house and if i was rich i buy every ticket and give them away, must be at least 30,000 sold surely.
Sunderland 2-1 Charlton Charlton 1-1 Sunderland. Who gives a ****. I can tell it’s all tongue in cheek mate so no drama, frankly anyone bar Donny could win these playoffs. Charlton are favourites for me, riding in on the best run.
I always think it's cute when other fans come on here trying to give it large about attendances. Didn't some Pompey fan make almost an identical post before the Checkatrade final and then they struggled to sell their allocation
Loyal who only turn up for a cup final if that's the case Sunderland could sell out Wembley by itself, if your talking loyal 40,000 versus 11,000 where did you learn maths
You don’t get 40,000 though, and we don’t get 11,000. We also have the Belgian equivalent of Ellis Short only far worse ruining our 113 year old English football club - while the spineless w ankers at the EFL look the other way. In summary, we are a decent sized club with decent support - as witnessed by us taking 3,800 to Doncaster tomorrow - it’s just that we are being destroyed by a Belgian twat.
As for the crowd.. I'm actually embarrassed how few tickets we have sold for such an important game.. It shows how weak our fan base is to be honest..
For all the news and info I honestly think a load of season ticket holders are going to turn up assuming they get in with their tkts. As has alaso been stated tho there were already planned events in the city (5 &10k races) there is a big rugby tournament thru Newcastle. Hotels charging silly prices so maybe fans who travel in are not willing to pay the extortionate prices when the game is on telly.
Ticket sales for Doncaster v Charlton on Sunday Donny 7,000 Charlton 3,800 You’ve got to question how badly Rovers want to get out of this sh1t league ? I know the fans of the other three clubs are desperate to. I do NOT want to go to Fleetwood or Accrington again next season
O9 was a liability against Pompey at Wembley, Matthews is by far a better RB, given he was rusty on his return. The Baldwin of early season form is a better option than Ozturk. and worth the gamble,, Ozturk is poor.
He obviously doesn't rate him in midfield, there are many who are selected ahead of him there, he has never been picked there. You have to back Ross on his decisions and date O9 is a make shift right back.
Mate you do not understand what we are going through (although granted not as bad as Bolton fans) …. we have an absentee owner who installed his 20 something year old 'bit of fluff' as Chief Exec when he bought us then sold our two real Championship quality players on the cheap (he had to negotiate the transfers as the CEO had no idea what she was doing!) he then sacked our Club hero Manager (Chris Powell) and replaced him with a Belgian (Riga) who nobody had heard of who in fairness did very well for the rest of the season... he was then not offered the full time gig but the job was given to a former Belgian Millwall sicknote just to pi55 off the supporters … 1) We have been told we are customers NOT supporters by the club 2) We have been told that the owner doesn't respect our history but will run the club as HE wants 3) The owner has been to 1 home game (and zero away games) since owning the club 4) The owner sells out best young talent on the cheap because he refuses to give long term contracts 5) The owner is refusing to negotiate a standard contract with Lee Bowyer & Jonnie Jackson instead trying to give an incentivised contract 6) The owner has had the freehold assets of the Club professionally valued at £20m and has verbally offered the football club to the EFL and/or the supporters for £1 yet when he talk to potential buyers wants over £60m for the League One Club 7) Our Senior Management Team seems to consist of a Belgian external consultant who continually lies and a British 'nasty piece of work' who seems to be there to threaten supporters 8) If you think of Ellis Short but much much worse then you have our owner. He is a sort of Owen Oyston but with the money to fund his crazed ownership style. Fans protests in his home town in Belgium do seem to pi55 him off but nothing else we do does … so people have resorted to boycotting, it is all we have left, refusing to financially support his destruction of our club. So do we have 40,000 loyal fans who refuse to currently go to the Valley ….. yes quite probably
