    Ha, I suppose not everyone on here is as familiar with non-league clubs in Essex. The Cowley brothers at Lincoln made their names by taking Concord Rangers up through non-league to the Conference South. They're based in Canvey which isn't very big and Canvey Island are the bigger club. Its not very funny at all really unless you know Canvey.. not the audience on here..

    I believe that Canvey Island had a jumping live music scene in the early sixties, and these were the only brothers I remember from that time, doubt they ever played Canvey Island but you never know. <ok>

    Like I said in my other post, they came up when I googled the names and Canvey so maybe the did. I've only been visiting the place for the last 5 years or so, so my knowledge of it doesn't extend that far.
