You're definitely a glass full kind of person. From my glass half empty perspective, we no longer have our destiny in our hands...Barnsley and Luton will get the automatics, play offs for us.
Final Match Stats:- Home Team: Sunderland ........Away Team: Portsmouth Possession: Home 56% Away 44% Shots: Home 9 Away 5 Shots on Target: Home 5 Away 2 Corners: Home 3 Away 4 Fouls: Home 16 Away 18
Don't rule us out yet Lapras - Luton and Barnsley have 1 game each left to play, we've got 2 left (as have Sunderland).
So there we have it. We're four points behind Luton and Barnsley. Automatic promotion is no longer in our own hands. First we must beat Peterborough on Tuesday. The next Saturday we must beat accrington and hope that either Barnsley fail to win at Bristol Rovers or Luton fail to beat Oxford at home.
PompeyNewsNow@PompeyNewsNow 5m5 minutes ago Peterborough and Accrington up next for #Pompey in @SkyBetLeagueOne. Maybe Doncaster in play-off semi-finals or could Barnsley slip up? Interesting week ahead. please log in to view this image
41,129 was today's attendance, including at least 3,222 Pompey fans (our total allocation !), + an additional 5,000 Pompey fans watching the game on the big screen at Fratton Park !
If you win both, and we win both with a 10 goal swing and Luton and Barnsley both lose their last one - we both go up - that would be the most ****ed up last day of a season in history!! Probably see you at Wembley again!!!
Well marcus, we both lost tonight, so play-offs for the two of us !! As you say, hopefully see you at Wembley yet again
