Can't find any stats, but does anyone else think O9 won 10+ aerial duels today?

He is immense, covers every area of the field for a full 90 mins in every game, absolute engine, and can play a bit as well. <ok>

Would be quite an impressive disaster even by safc standards that wouldn’t it?!

Normally much maligned I thought the ref had a good game yesterday. Rightfully booked a couple but tried to let the game flow. Plus a fantastic decision not to award a nailed on penna to Plymouth. Apart from the Bradford match where the ref was obviously a closet SAFC fan this bloke was next best.

Even better if they'd shown the whole run with him trying to give it big going past the Roker End

(The painting has over the years had two titles - “A Corner Kick” and “The Last Minute – Now or Never”.) Parking the bus is right! Apparently Sunderland were defending a corner in the final minute of a 4-4 match. I found this interesting as well: (The painting is recognised as the oldest of an Association Football match anywhere in the world, and thus marking it out as something special.)

Great win yesterday!! We are clearly on a roll and this is the best time of the season to get on it. Pleased the “doomongers” have quitened down. This is a hard league but we are in there giving everything we have. The team in my opinion have done us proud this season. Let’s hope they get the just results from now till the end of the season that reflects their hard work, determination and commitment to the cause. Ha’way the lads!!!
