Should be a good game, going for a draw although could be a 2-1 either way Hopefully the new injuries aren't key players
To long in the tooth for expecting 9 points, be happy with 6 but will probably end up with 4/5 if we play the way we have been and LJ has still learnt bugger all.
Didn't realize only 2 games tomorrow because of the FA Cup. Win and we go joint top. Lose Oxford go above us. So I'm going for a must win tomorrow. 14-0 and we go top
Lee Johnson update: "There are a couple we are waiting on - I won't reveal who, but there are a couple. "Without doubt, though, our eleven will be strong and we will have two or three senior players available on the bench, and then there will be three or four younger players with an opportunity to soak in the environment and come on if need be." “Elliot and Leon played in midweek and they came off at half-time, but we hadn't planned on them playing the full game and they are both fine. “It has been a really difficult set of circumstances, but I think a lot of clubs are finding this and we aren’t a million miles away from having a couple back.” “If we can get through the next couple of games without any more injuries, it will start to look a lot healthier with the likes of Corry Evans, Denver Hume and Dennis Cirkin coming back. https://safc.com/news/team-news/2021/december/oxford-united-press-conference
I am going for 5-3 to the cuddlies. If RTB is correct that looks like a bloody good team to me. Broadhead with a double, Ross, Gucchi + Winny to complete the scoring. Great thread yet again RTB.
Dunno what to think. Tough oppo, and we’re hardly flying/banging em in so a tight match. The fact it is a chance to catch up on those above us worries me rather than fills me with confidence! Think I need a good nights kip
Really hope we hammer them, their manager is an absolute clownshoe. As usual hoping and praying for a lightning fast start and batter them Great thread as always RTB,
He's quite a repugnant character isn't he, equally unpleasant whether they win lose or draw ... ... we're good at home and quite capable of beating Oxford which I think we will. Two for Stewart and a clean sheet, Haway the Lads!!!
No Alves or Harris on the bench, I wonder if Alves was one of the first teamers who were injured. I think Dyce may be a better option as left wingback than Dajaku
Great thread again mate. I said last week we are needing to dig in for results now with our injuries. Expecting a tough game today as a result. We just need to keep in touch until players return and hopefully in January we give them all a helping hand with a couple of new signings and then we really start a big push.
That's a team that could win three or four nil if we play it quickly on the ground ... ... Oxford will cheat, moan and fall over like skittles but we can't drop to that level.
