The draw for Round Three of the Checkatrade Trophy will take place on Saturday 8 December, live on Sky Sports.

This year's draw will be presented by Adam Leventhal and conducted by pundits Alan McInally and Matt Le Tissier, as part of Sky's Soccer Saturday coverage at 12:20pm.

The Round Three draw will be regionalised between the Northern and Southern section.

More information, including details of ball numbers for the draw and confirmed teams will be released in due course.

Yeah - I've been looking for some video on the build up as the other video didn't really show what he did before the run.
He's certainly one for the future along with Bali Mumba.

These young players all seem to be comfortable playing the ball along the ground, and its there for all to see in this clip, (thanks again RTB) the same quality is seen in Robson and Hume, and if they all keep developing along these lines our future looks assured. I too am looking forward to seeing Kimpioka used as a sub in the league more often, and what with Watmore also coming along nicely we could be in for a treat. I am even more confident now about the tough run up to Xmas tbh. Onwards and upwards.

Have to say I think Hume is the best left back at the club and I'd have him in the side ahead of either of the other 2 - no detriment to them at all as they're both very good at what they do - I just think Hume is better.

I watched Robson last season and thought he had 1 good game and was poor the rest - I haven't really seen enough of him to pass judgement so Jury's still out. He's the only midfielder we've had in years that could keep a lid on David Meyler - even thought Meyler isn'#t a good player, he's always managed to wind up our midfield except when Robson played

Meyler has played a lot of football at a higher level than we are curently, he was in our U21 teams with Henderson and Colback and all three have "made the grade" in football, Mayler was given away along with El Mohamedy another under rated player, both helped Hull into the premiership, so if Robson can achieve this level he could be classed as a very good player imo. Personally I think he is a better player than Meyler, time will tell, but I would love to see a midfield of Mumba, Robson Honeyman and or Embleton in a years time pushing us into the top half of the championship, this might be a pipe dream, but it is not inconceivable by any means.
Pleased you agree with me about Hume. <ok>

I agree - but I've only seen him do it once. Every other game he's played he's looked poor - but he was playing in a "bereft of confidence godawful side".

If he can maintain the level he showed in that game he'd be a big asset to us

Hume is awesome! Whenever you watch him, in defence when he gets the ball he looks for the pass instead of just "head down, kick as hard as you can" - when he gets forward he won't just blindly cross the ball - he, again, looks to see where his team-mates are and tries to find one. Reads the game well too.

Exactly Marcus, and as far as I can see, most of our younger players try to play this way, natural development coupled with experience should see a fair percentage of them make the grade hence my optimism for the future. With the current owners, and a Canny Scot at the helm we are definitely on the up.
