We'll have to agree to disagree mate... I think :-

Kone- despite being a much needed unit at the back I think hes our best defender and his level of performances have been decent now he knows hes stuck here for the time being.

McGeady- i agree with his defensive work but hes probably the only player weve got thats capable of producing a bit of magic from nowhere as seen against Norwich. Hes also our most creative player.

McNair- Can play defence or midfield and having him sat in the holding role will solidify us massively.

Watmore- although I agree we cant put too much pressure on him but he will inject much needed pace upfront or out wide. He won the young Premiership player of the year award in 2015 playing as a central striker. Thats where id like to see him play now for us and I think he'll be a big player for us when he returns.

Whilst I think it's ridiculous to have people saying Grayson should gonat this stage, I think there is a question about his selections, setup, tactics and substitutions.

I'm hanging fire a few weeks as there have been a lot of changes but the quality of our squad is far better than most of the league and results, in spite of circumstances, are inexcusable for me.

He needs to find answers sharpish.

He can't find an answer to having no goalscorer. Nobody could, cause we have no goalscorers. Being good enough isn't enough either. JoS has been good enough his entire career but he's so mistake prone he''s always cost his teams goals. Head strong and consistent players cost too when you want the whole package, it costs and we don't have it. Steele, Ruiter, Kone, Bowning and Galloway have all cost us points from individual Errors, something even the precious Big Sam couldn't put a stop too back when he was in charge, he had a goal scorer though and that means the world when your defensive players are so mistake prone.

Begs the question though, how do we cut out individual mistakes? They don't just need to become solid, they need to be immaculate.

Individual mistakes is down to one of two things. Lack of confidence and/or lack of concentration.

I'd say last nights was down to concentration and Browning switching off towards the end of the game. He's young, it happens. Hopefully he'll learn from it.

I think getting Kone and Wilson as a solid partnership will help a lot.

Keepers are my worry. I think Ruiter was just as to blame as Browning last night, far too slow getting down again, it went right under him. That's two games running he's cost us goals being slow to get down, Steele was dropped for consecutive mistakes too, both look dodgy as **** at the moment imo and have played their part in costing us at least 12 points through mistakes.

Tough to stamp individual mistakes out, harder when so many are making them. Need to though.

Why? I thought you preferred it in the lower league.

I did'nt get there but it seemed to be lack of a goalscorer and creativity. At Sheffield game we were out muscled in many challeges which the ref let go ( did so on both sides) so let game f l ow.No problems but we were not prepared for the physical challenges. Once WAM (Watmore Asoro and Maja) and McGeady are in team/bench I think we will create chances and start scoring goals.

We will have to disagree here, mate.

I still don't see a place in the team for McNair. Do we drop Cattermole or N'Dong for him? I think he's very average, but we'll see on that one.

Kone for me still gets turned too easily and the ball caught up in his feet, in dangerous areas. Will he make our team stronger? Definitely. Will it make a big difference if he plays or not? I don't think so.

McGeady has flattered to deceive, imo. We need players who are going to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. He's not doing that and our full backs are taking the hit for him. He's scored 1 and got 1 assist, but he's also wasted numerous balls in good positions and at the end of games, when we really require him to turn it on.

Watmore - I agree he could be a big player for us. I see his position out wide, but I'm more than happy for him to have a crack as our main striker.

3 or 4 imo - they haven't cost us wins but have cost us draws I think. Think we could've played until now from Saturday's performace without scoring!

No real surprise we lost. At least I won £35 on forest. 5/2 Was to good a price.

Anyway we huffed and puffed but didn't look like scoring for toffee. No firepower so bottom 5 all season. Just the way it is.

Thanks short, lots of love xxx

Watched highlights last night. Steel was poor in some goals but I gave him benifit of the doubt as there was worse indervidual defending in the seconds prior. But 8 off our 11 goals conceded were from individual mistakes, 3 from Ruiter and I let him off with the forest goal to credit Browning with it but it went right under him and he should have done better. His three there are one parying into the worst place possible, the other two he's beaten near post.

    Galloway 1 (Derby)
    Jones 1 (leeds)
Rueter 3 (Barns x2 Shef United)
    Browning 2(Barns, Forest)
    O'SHea 1 (Sheff utd)

Scary **** that! Haven't had chance to watch many "high"lights!! Just going from watching the Leeds match on TV and being at Sheff Utd and Forest.

Terrible when 2 different people could've done better at different points in the same goal mind!

It's happened with both keepers mate, only reason Steele isn't on the list cause it was too hard to present in a simple text list <laugh>

Some or you may disagree with my list like, just my personal opinion. But if you watch them, it ain't pretty viewing <laugh>

Catts got in the way of Kone for one goal we conceded, did anyone else notice that one, or are some players beyond reproach. :emoticon-0100-smile

There have been several lapses of concentration in midfield in the build up to goals we've conceded... Not just Cattermole, but...

Which goal(highlights all on safc)? The only two I saw Catts involved in he tried to make fouls to stop play(From a midfield position) but there was plenty of space and time for the defence to remain organised and deal with both. I don't believe he's been to blame for any goals.
