I like Mick but he's off to West Brom surely. I think he would sort our team out but can't see him wanting to come back here. Mick McCarthy brought his six-year tenure at Ipswich Town to a dramatic end, announcing "I'm out of here" after a 1-0 win over Barnsley on Tuesday. The 59-year-old was due to leave the Championship club at the end of the season, but departed four games early. It came after he was asked in his post-match news conference about fans' negative reaction to debutant Barry Cotter being substituted. "I won't have to listen to that again, that's my last game," McCarthy said. "I'm out of here."
Ridiculous to think that if we'd just held onto our leads against Leeds and Nowich we'd be in touching distance of safety. A strong end to the season won't save us now but it might just change the mentality and build some momentum going into the summer
I would stick with Coleman, he has been over cautious in my opinion but we have improved, unfortunately its too late now to save our season, perhaps a little more attacking intention might have saved us but with our defence that would have been a risky strategy. Would still like to see more of our own younger players given more of a chance, especially Asoro and Maja who look a far better bet for goals than Fletcher, but to be fair to him he has had to fight a lone battle most games.
Not that concerned about Coleman but I would like Mick back always liked him there's this other lad doing quite well his name is
If only we had a decent GK If only Watmore hadn't gotten injured again If only Rodwell had ****ed off in the summer If only we hadn't had so many injuries in general .... So many what ifs
