Maverick Mofo. I’d play him more , as he has a confident/bonkers edge like non-one else in our1st team squad , if we need to mix things up

No reason not to start giving him a few run outs, he’s only a year younger than Maja.

No only that... But he can stand in the penalty box and control the ball at the halfway line with his other foot!!

You would have done the same, no doubt.

Let's be honest, Sunderland have had to face the ignominy of playing a competitive game against Newcastle's youth team, and no matter what the score was Newcastle fans won't forget that.

It was no more difficult than when we play the first team, and 2 divisions and Ayoze Perez won’t make US forget that.

Might give a **** what the thoughts up the road are when we ever lose a derby again, or if they are anything other than also rans in a higher league. We were that, and it’s ****E being that as well.

Those same Skunks will also (probably) not forget the fact that Sunderland fielded a team of mostly reserve/fringe players/players returning from injury, as well as some of our youths (one who was the youngest on the pitch), which was still good enough to comfortably hammer the future Skunks F.C. 4-0 :emoticon-0105-wink:

Watching that brought a smile to my face at 05.00 this morning:1980_boogie_down: I think you can still hear Skunks gnashing their teeth, muttering, as they frantically tap the keys, desperately trying to make excuses on their pathetic 'warm fart' ..uhm, 'glow', thread. Oh, it makes me laugh<party>

That warm glow thread is one of the most infantile things I've ever seen on a football forum ...

Just reading a couple of things on Sky site and came across the following:

"Checkatrade Trophy match S'land vs Newcastle United U21"

So they had to shorten it by 5 characters. Instead of stating "Newcastle U21"they shorten Sunderland significantly. I may be being a little picky but christ their bias is blatant!
