Looking at it through less pissed off eyes, KLD is new to all this, he has put his trust in the wrong person, he will learn. Was I dreaming or is KLD restricted on what he can spend because of other shareholders not being able to afford to cough up money?

This does interest me tbh. If the pitch cost 100k has KLD payed 41k and Charlie payed 5k, Juan 20k and SD 35k or does it not work like that? Can the 3 amigos just say "nah we aren't putting our share in, we own 59%". I'm genuinely nee expert in this sort of stuff, just a normal fan.

Edit: that quest wasn't directly at you John, I just used your post to ask the question in general. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Of course its not just the manager. I've been saying that all along :emoticon-0105-wink:. I don't think we've had the right mix in the squad in terms of positions filled and in terms of characters. It takes more than just buying a few players to build a team. The theory behind the model is sound- lots of clubs in lots of sports operate a similar kind of thing- but it takes time to get it right. There's nothing special about League 1 that means that a data-led approach or director of football won't work. I think people are just blaming those things because they're unfamiliar when really the team still needs a couple of additions and/or changes. It just needs patience, in my opinion.

The point I was trying to get at is there's been rumblings of why we haven't spent x y x. I believe as it stands KLD is restricted at the moment so he hasn't really had a chance to own own the club. I guess I'm getting at the future will be brighter once Brent and Gareth are gone.

Mate of mine said a few weeks ago that we could have done worse than keeping Max Power. I scoffed at the idea and said we have moved on from League One plodders like Max

Then I watched Corry "The Coward" Evans do his best impression of the invisible man and realised he was right

If Evans was the Power replacement then I'd go Max Power every day of the week and twice on a Saturday

As with Ellis Short before. I've seen it with management in industry. Full of absolute shìt and talk the talk.
Take the glory for anything positive and pass off the shìt to those below .

KLD is hopefully hands on to see any shìt and not get fed it unlike Short.

KLD really needs to buy these ****ers out and run the club as his own asset. As long as they are hanging around questions will be asked (rightly so). I think he is biding his time but I'd like him to move a bit quicker

Then the mix of the squad is down to how it's chosen surely ?

We need a realist to drag us out of this league in my opinion, not a computer nerd.

Whether your transfer policy is planned out in Excel or on the back of a *** packet, there's no guarantee that you'll land your targets. The data doesn't make it easier to sign players, its just helps you look at the right ones.

All really, use stats to get a big selection then have loads of videos to narrow the list, then watch them live...then make offers... a sifting process.

KLD should have proposed building a new stadium for 200m quid.
KLD" Here's my 82m, Chaz you owe 10m, Juan you're in for 40m and Stew, you owe 60m ish........is everyone happy....."
    Stew....."erm, Kyril.......can I have a word in private......"

That’s possibly why he played Pritchard on the wing because he didn’t want to go through the middle.
I reckon about 30 thousand there could have told AN to play Pritch as number 10 with Clarke and Roberts either side of Stew.
