Really poor that, Pritchard out wide doesn't work. Clarke roasted his full back every time when he came on and should have started. Cirkin looks shot to bits. Evans was backwards and sideways all game.

well the paint dried.... jeezus how can a team that was passing sharply and crisply somehow turn into a team of such laboured ordeals, the time they take to pass a ball, 'lobbing' a ball to team mates rather than along the ground, waiting for a player to be stood in front of them before trying to pass. at one point we had a throw in on our left, the player who got the ball from the throw turned the right way, away from his man and looked to lay it off to our right...except our right back was closer to the left of the pitch than the man on the ball, i know flanno was not the best but i cant recall as many through balls or balls over the top leading to so many goals as in recent weeks and whenever they get the ball you feel they will score ('whickham' should have made it three really) as patterson does not look capable of saving any one v ones. one good delivery into the box and stewart scores, the rest were too long, too short, too high...think i have had enough now.
Pritchard is a good player but we are trying to shoehorn him into the team. Either he plays behind striker or not at all. The difference when Clarke came on was chalk and cheese.

He is an excellent player in the 10 role. Quality on the ball and really helps us in the press with his workrate. Out wide he is totally wasted.

Speakman is on borrowed time no doubt. Could play Winny, or as Fell suggests Doyle in there until O/9 is back , but it is our weakest position with few real options , I still think a back 3 is our best option but I accept I am in a minority on this one, so be it.
The past 3 weeks at this club has been a complete shambles on and off the pitch . If kld or whoever is in charge at the top is thinking in putting season ticket prices up next season then crowds will be at a record low and frankly they don't deserve us !
