We need 2 CBs, 2 DMs, 1 RB,. I wouldn't want to see fletcher and cleverley playing for the first team anymore.

Lucky to get 1 point today.

United first bid of £48m was rejected.

United had to pay £15m extra for him

It is only the ****ing GGs money anyway. When I read in sky/mail that the greedy Spanish had upped the price from £60m to £75m because they recognised United's "desperation". That Pratt Woodward might play some ****ing mind games and refuse to deal. They may have squeezed Madrid for another 5-10m but the player is more important than the money!

We have too very good midfielders missing. One of which os a dmp. We also have 2 CBs and a rb to come in.

What we really need is a pacy skillful winger, an experienced cb and a combative cm.

Were getting one and rumours suggest closing deals for the others.

    Stop worrying so much.

Di Maria..£64 million?!!! Desperate times call for desperate measures but he won't make fletcher, cleverly, young etc better players. Good player di Maria but why is he coming? From a team of superstars to the worst united team in my memory and I go back a few years.if it's only for the money then spending this big could really hamstring you.
Better spent on two or three quality defenders/midfielders surely.

Madrid was never going to accept £45m. He was one if the best players in la liga last season. No one at real wanted him to go except the president of the club who has to balance the books.

They tried £75m or E90m knowing full well that United will pay >£64m or E75m

If it means rebuilding the team completely it makes sense. The GGs at last seems to be willing to spend big.. <ok>

Well if you've got it to spend then why not, and not getting the players and failing in the league would probably cost more.

I don't agree about your comment regarding whose money it is though - ultimately the Glazers bleed the money out of the club.

They're just looking at your turnover, not how much money they've got lying about.

But wouldn't spending that much on one player harm your chances of spending biggish on others. Wouldn't FFP impinge on that. Only asking cause don't understand FFP too much ?

The amount of revenue United make, we could buy both Madrid and Barca's first elevens and still stay within regulations.

(Ok, slight exaggeration maybe, but you get the point.)

United revenue according to FFP is the biggest in world football and their budget limit is far far ahead of the likes of real, Barca, PSG, Chelsea, City.

That is why while the likes of PSG Monaco even real have to look at how much they are spending, united have still some way to go to reach their limit. If the money isn't spent it will go in ****ing GGs' pockets.

Spending £65m on Di Maria is no big deal. In fact I wished they had spent £75m, the biggest transfer this summer!
We need to keep spending big. <ok>
