By the law, should have been a pen from the braindead Can (although penalties should be for deliberate hand balls and indirect freekicks for non-deliberate imo) Sturridge was level there so shouldn't have been flagged?

i appear to be in a minority as i didn't think it was a pen as i saw it ball to hand (i wondered if it had deliberately played at the arm tbh) but wouldn't have been surprised if it had been given
Technically the rules state handball isn't a violation of any kind of it isn't deliberate. Naturally, refs never follow that.

Think it was a pen, but as for that commentator and 99 times out of a hundred. ... but what amuses me is that when we were given one against Swansea last season the defender turned his back and threw both arms out. The usual suspect wums were on it like a rash yet it was five times worse than that.
