Grant looks a decent player for them
I’ve liked the look of Neil in parts. Got plenty of ability and composure.
I suspect the Diamond or Maguire may come on.. or Jones?
Patience is the key here, though I would expect Leadbitter to be replaced fairly soon
Think Gooch has been poor. Tries to take it round the outside of the LB every time but is often too close to him and the LB just takes the ball off him.
Gooch seems to have gone back to trying to be McGeady on the other wing rather than Gooch.
I would say Gooch for me just never really impresses me - Neil has had the odd bit that suggests there may be a footballer in there
Totally agree mate, no reds or injuries.
In fact, all the midfield has been poor
Think we have got control back in last 15 minutes. Before that I thought passed it round and through us. Our shape off the ball improved and we have looked after it better.
Well that was poor not a penalty shoot out ffs
Jones hopefully. Need to get Leadbitter off too, just slows it down every time he gets it. Lincoln are playing some brilliant football btw.
Commentators are really pissing me off. They are ****e, just like the refs at this level.
Thanks for the links
dodgy tackling by Gooch as well, you would expect this performance we cannot play 2 consecutive never have, poor crosses compared to Saturday.
got to say the refs been reasonable 2of their players dropping but ref didn't blow and Gooch a blatant foul and he still didn't blow
And leadbitter? Dan Neil? McLaughlin benched.
A bit harsh on Neil, he has carried the ball well and found some passes but he has made some poor decisions, which is indicative of a young player with little game time at this level.
It's all the time Leadbitter plays to be honest.
Id be tempted to let Jones have a go at the left back. Gooch is getting much joy against him.
Dan Neil looks good when taking the ball in tight areas but not convinced he is aware enough when out of possession. That will come there. He can look after the football so will develop quickly.
