I remember you saying that mate, you were spot on.

On his day he's probably our best player, by quite a distance.

Enjoyed the game today, Dobson, Wyke, Gooch, Willis and Hume were excellent. Great first half, dodgy second half. Thought Flanagans passing was atrocious. Special mention to Onein for that handball while lying down and how Max Powers 2 handed push wasn't a foul I'll never know.

    Onward and upward. KTF

    What a ****ing difference.

Gooch doing what he should be at this level, Maguire seemingly thriving on his ‘pal’ McGeady being dumped. Odd one that but we will take it.

Well done the lads and PP on an excellent recovery of the season, one thing as well, if Wyke hadn’t been injured last season, would we be in this league? No.

When he gets a couple games behind him he’s an absolute bastard for the oppo. Be nice if he can stay fit.

    Happy.

Back in training and expected to play in U23s later this month - there's a thread over the road that should be on the 1st page atm

If you plough through the "clever" stuff there's a bit of info

Ability wise he should be pissing this league.

How much of the issues has been down to McGeady? It’s looking brutal.

Doesn’t play v Tranmere we win 5-0, he’s publicly cut and we start an unbeaten run.

Maguire and Gooch, who play similar roles, suddenly look the part. McGeady was pals with Ross, has this been killing us for 9 months?

Fair play to Parky for the man management of the situation, obviously there’s still massive doubts and concerns but in a lot more relaxed manner.

He may get us going, still wouldn’t make him a good appointment mind. We were 3rd with 2 in hand when he got here.

I thought Mcgeady slowed the play down awfully which had a huge effect in our attacking play - either he would score a worldy or he would lose it.
I have a sneaky suspicion we will be back a Wembley again. :emoticon-0184-tmi:

But our form was awful and we were going backwards. Lincoln had just given us a football lesson before JR left

We just have to keep winning, happy to eat humble pie about Parkinson if that is the case.

We were good in the 1st half and were ruthless when they made mistakes..
    2nd half not so good..

We do need some players... striker and creative midfielder asap..

I'm liking how settled the team is, you'd think it'd be a simple enough matter at league one level to find out your best team and repeatedly play them without ****ing about but it's not always the case.

There's room for improvement obviously but it doesn't feel like the transfer window is as life or death as it did a month ago. I wonder if Wyke might find a bit of form now he's getting plenty of game time and his confidence and fitness levels are rising.

The fitness has clearly helped sharpen them up. It's a massive step up from the slow-starting, 'turgid as ****' group under Ross. Maguire looks like he's shaved 5 kilos off his midriff post burgergate.

Has anybody mentioned O9's ace tackle with that slightest of touches with his hand. What the f*ck was he thinking of?

Worth the booking for the humour content alone.
