Neither did we ! it was a close contest and probably a fair result , they are like us with an excellent away record it was always going to be a difficult fixture they have been at the top of the league so this was always going to be the case .

    Spot on mate
Love Grant but he does set a certain tempo
Maybe we should have started more on the front foot but that would have opened the game up and they were excellent on the break so god know how it would have ended
All in all I’m happy with a point could easily have lost

No harm done today with 4 teams drawing the only downer would be not putting Lincoln down in a harder position but I’ll take today’s results, 1 less game and still in our own hands

We have had a hell if a tough couple of weeks and to come out of it with 7 league points from 9 and a cup final win is superb. Not just the matches but the travelling. The lads and coaches deserve heaps of praise.

We get a chance to get some rest into the lads. We get the chamce to get O'Brien, Jones, Wright and Hume back. We also get a chance to work on the training ground properly for first time in a while. It is still in our hands and we can look forward with confidence I think.

People may not agree with me here especially after last weeks winning Cup final goal, but in my opinion we need to replace Gooch next season.
Hes far too hit and miss. Hes been with us a long time now, and as a player he hasnt progressed or improved. He has one good game followed by at least 3 mediocre games.

Reminds me of Sess. I'd still keep him and see if LJ magic rubs off on him like it has for Wyke, Power, Scowen, mcfazdean and Burge

A squad player only. Deffo not an automatic choice but if LJ can get better then so be it. He is virtually one of us though. Been here a long long time.

I'd be happy with Gooch as a squad player in the championship.

The trouble is, he doesn't have a nasty bone in his body ...

... he needs a bit more Maguire about him.

I'm sure Johnson must know he needs to be more decisive and brave. I really like the lad but this is a man's game and he plays like a little boy too much.

Yep i was talking crap it is always just after the game we feel like that, a great position i would have grabbed this 3 weeks ago if you offered me it, Peterboro threw 2 points away more than us, Lincoln were very good in the 2nd half. Maybe Lee needs to change things at B rovers next week, Kimpy needs a run out, the ref spoilt that game also.

If we’d won 4-0 today and it had been 1-1 at their place , I’d have been happy , so ok with today

The Eiffel Tower can be 15 cm taller during the summer, due to thermal expansion meaning the iron heats up, the particles gain kinetic energy and take up more space.

I fully agree, in fact you are being too kind he has one in 6 imo, it will be interesting to see how LJ moulds the squad and how long it will be before he starts to clear out some of the players, at least 3 or 4, that at present he seems to rate.

I agree mate. I watched todays match with my lass who has a very limited knowledge of football, but even she asked me if Sunderland get promoted will this be the team that plays in the Championship.
I explained theyd be lots of comings and going etc, and she said thats good cause yous would go straight back down <laugh>.

Awful performance. Deserved to lose. A draw is a fantastic result in hindsight.

I was starting to hope for a perfect month, win all games and concede no goals, which would have confirmed me to be nuttier than a very large fruit cake a couple of months ago.
A weeks recovery for the lads should have them back to normal, clean sheets and next to no shots on target for Barton's boys.

This will only be a fantastic result if we can build on it, and I think we can, and that could see us home and dry before the play-offs even. KTF

    You're kidding right?
How did we "deserve" to lose?
