He'll be at Pompey in a few years time, just waiting on his rodent features maturing a bit.

I'm a big believer in the dreaded jinx Roger, not predicting is only one of them, I daren't tell you the others in case I jinx the club at this very important time.<laugh>

Pretty confident for this game regardless of what our injury situation is right now.
Wyke on fire and now has competition for his place. I've seen one glimpse of Ross Stewart and I like what I see. Early days but he reminds me a lot of Niall Quinn (in the air at least, haven't seen enough of him on the ground to judge)

3-0 Home win. Wyke, Geeds and Maguire

Already has been hasn't he? He's already a journeyman manager - pretty sure he managed 3 teams in one season a few years back

Left Portsmouth in November 2012 to join Blackpool. Resigned 11 games later to take the Blackburn job. Was sacked by Blackburn after 15 games

A Fulham win hopefully tonight, would be the start of another potentially outstanding weekend of football.

This is of course a 6 pointer...and in terms of games, following on from the red nosed scotsman...it's squeaky bum time..with 12 games to go.

A win will certainly cement us in 3rd spot. Hull and Peterborough are away, if they lose a win for us will have even more significance!

We have a couple of formats that the players seem happy with, either 3 or 4 at the back, Wyke and Mcgeady up front with either another winger, or O'Brien/Stewart with Wyke.

LJ, swops around if the format is not working or individual players are looking physically/mentally off the pace.

We have won the last two games without playing particularly well, against Portsmouth we put in a good performance.

Tbh all I want is a win...

They are already tanking and I’m looking forward to this one.

Very similar to when Wycombe rolled in last season and we blasted them, but with the extra that we are flying well here as we were jogging then.

We smashed them at their place, we laboured past them in the EFL, but since that game the universe has separated us and I can’t for the life of me see anything but a continuation of the juggernaut.

    3-0.

They have a few injuries to key players. Bit like us but without the same quality squad

Appleton has almost give up on this game by the sounds of it. Hopefully that negativity filters down to the players

Having seen them against Gillingham I have to say it's more than just a blip.

There's something wrong in that team, very quiet after the goals and just trudged back to the half way line.

If we don't allow them to slow the game down, and fall into their lethargy, I can't see anything but a win.

Under Johnson I've no idea what team or formation he'll play and predictions are totally pointless ...

... so I'm going for 2-0 with McGeady free kick in the first half and a penalty in the second, followed by a red for their keeper <laugh>

Far be it from me to self proclaim myself as the oracle, but I said when were were still outside the playoffs and 13 points or so behind them they’d collapse.

Me being smug aside, was always us and Peterborough for me, that faith was lost under Parky, and massive credit to Hull, they’ve actually achieved a magnificent season and kept it going given the turmoil.

It’s 2 from 3 and we have the biggest teeth. Ross scoring in his debut is another bow string and like getting a new signing in March.

For the first time in all the time we’ve been down here I’m utterly confident every game we are gonna get it right, anyone who finishes above us will be in the Championship next season.

I am hoping the pressure of Wembley and Accrington has gone. We were not good at Wembley and I put that down to nerves. Accrington was a pressure game, as they all are, and we came through it. Hoping the players realise we are too good for this league now and go out with confidence not arrogance and just get stuck into them from the 1st minute.
Once again with the strength in depth on the bench I expect another win.

I thought about that the other night. Been a while since we had one in a league game.
